Hi guys Ive never done a disc image before and was wondering as to how i go about making one that i can transfer onto a different pc. I have acronis true image but i could get a copy of norton ghost as ive heard thats good too. Basically do i just install windows and set it all up how i want it and then just go into device manager uninstall all the devices and then reboot into true image and make the ghost image to redeploy ? create a new user and use that as ur profile. although if its an inherited computer it would be best you just format it and reinstall windows again with everything u want.

Firefox has one advantage over opera and thats open source. Apart from that opera beats it in every single aspect. Waaaaay more secure than either firefox or ie. Waaaaaay faster at loading web pages and alot better on the memory. I used to be a firefox user for a short period of time before someone recommended opera to me. Ever since then firefox has just been a joke. i still slap myself everynow and then just for using it all that time ago. what was i thinking.

if your overclocking that much u will most likely need to up the vcore, not sure how easy that is on an Asrock board as they are budget boards and not designed for high overclocks. You will most likely find there is a voltmod that u can do so that it enables u to up the voltages.

2 by 1GB would be far better, if you put 4x512 in then it will only run at 2T command rate which will decrease performance. Also having 2 slots spare will be useful incase u want to upgrade to more in future. If you are buying 2x1GB make sure u buy a dual channel kit and not just two seperate modules.

As if UT2k7 would only be on the xbox360 , they would lose millions of $ in profit, UT was built for the pc and will always stay a pc game.

I would personally pick the X1600 out of those. X1600Pro > 6600GT > 9800Pro > 9600XT If you can afford one of the new 7 series nvidea cards then that would probably be a better choice than any of them. I heard the AGP 7600GS can have pipes unlocked and overclocked pretty well.

5GB is nowhere near enough nowdays, mines set to 15GB, Also when your imaging your disc it doesnt image the entire thing, it images jsut the space used. my full disc image compressed is 900MB using Acronis True Image, uncompressed is 3.2GB.

It is possible to add image resources to dialogs , i have done it in the past, i have just forgotten how i did it as it was along time ago. Im sure there is a way of adding a animated gif to it. You dont need to rewrite all of windows just todo that.

Im currently trying to edit my sysdm.dll dialog 101 and also winrar.exe so that i can use Animated GIFs on the dialogs, the only trouble is that when i add the resource and then add the control using resource hacker it doesnt seem to show up I add a new resrouce and call it GIF, 1 , lang 1033 I then goto the dialog and add a sysanimated control and set its ID to 1 , unfortunately it doesnt show the avi when the dialog loads. :| I am not sure how else i can do it. If someone would be kind enough to bung n AVI in the sysdm.cpl and get it to work on a dialog then i can just replace the AVI resource , would be greatly appreciated.

breaking DRM is as easy as 1,2,3 you dotn need to pay for any software todo it for you. Obviously i wont explain how todo it on these forums as it would be breaking the rules.

I tried the nvidia firewall, it seemed ok for about 24 hrs but after a while some of my programs started using excessive amounts of memory for no reason, it is a pile of garbage and you would be better off with one like Agnitum outpost firewall.

i would pick the w810i every time, the new sony ericsson phones are totally kickass, they have better features and look alot nicer than any of the other ones like motorola and nokia.
