winnt.sif should be in the i386 folder of CD or the install medium

I have fully partitioned and formatted HD i hav C,D,...H partitions nad of course C is primary and others are in logical partition is it possible to install XP off uACD just by formatting C drive from winnt.sif and not altering any other partitions

refer ref.chm in Support\tools\deploy.cab put AutoAcivate=Yes in [unattended] section of winnt.sif

get the tweakUI.exe file frm somwhere installed copy it 2 system32 dir thats it now u can run TweakUI

I hav intel 915gav m/b with P4 prescott 3GHz CPU 60 C M/B 46 C CPU Fan 1600 RPM and the fan goes to aroud 5000RPM when there is intense work bt CPU temp goes only by 1 C and m/b by 2 or 3 C is it Normal or ABnormal

No 64bit PE cannot be executed frm a 32bit OS ((Kernel)) so u must boot frm CD

Windows can only be compiled by M$ they hav copyrighted it can't be done like making Linux installation frm its' source code buy ur copy of MCE so u get a license building MCE is a against rules M$ will f****k u u cannot compile any available M$ product M$ agreement gives u only them to use it owned by M$ unlike Linux which u can own and make new Disto and sell,but ur end usr should also get the rights that u got ie them should also can make it what they want ..... PS: it is illegal to download M$ Windows *** frm Warez or P2P network

It may may due to the setup not updating the boot.ini file create new entry corresponding to x64 installation in "boot.ini" replace "ntldr","ntdetect.com" from the x64 CD for the files on the HDD now reboot the system it should work

nLite is nice tool for reducing the source it can remove apps that bundled with the os ---so remove what usr dont need it makes thr installation faster

Windows actually checks the drives every time u start to see that /sos or /debug ((i think so ) instead of /fastdetect u can see the loading of drivers checking disks instead of the windows logo. so after login u check ur disks corrctly and find & remove any bad clusters using the scandisk

I made multi boot CD using EasyBoot cd/dvd menu creating program i made xp sp1, sp2 -pro & home without any prblms i created the PRO1 folder from winnt32 /noreboot and edited the tctsetup.sif, replaced "\" with "\xppro\" for pro and "\xphome\" for home i kept the booting folders containg various TXTSETUP.SIF for each version in the root of the CD (PRO1 ,HOM1 etc) then the "xppro" and "xphome" folders too in the root of the cd put all the required CD idents for pro in xppro folder and for home in xphome folder it works nicely i don't know how CDSHELL works and may due to it ? however try again............

Yes u can change th registry values of asystem which is not fully installed or in setup phase it easier to change the value than doing all the "Rafael's" work just pull SHIFT+F10 to get command window type regedit change the value as required exit regedit wait for setup to complete Gotta u have MCE wich can join domain isn't simple

I am sorry WHEN U SLPSTREAM SP2 over MCE 2002 u get MCE 2004 :::: to overcome that extract the SP2 to some folder ((thepacked file wiibe around 266MB and after extraction the folder will be around 350MB) goto \I386\update\ip \cmpnents !! i think so !!! or get the cmpnents dirctory from the extracted sp2 folder thAT U HAV GO BY SEARCHING copy to the root of u r cd i think it will contain all the files required NOTE :: the slipstreaming environment too must be MCE in order to get the slipstreaming MCE to work correctly ((ie u must perform slipstreaming mce 2002 in an mce environment to get mce 2004)) then only copy the cmpnets folder to the root of cd install with MCE cd key
