Since with new P4 (LGA775) intel ships with speed controlled fan bcoz of ppl complain about noise coming frm fan so the fan runs at 1200 to 1300 rpm at normal conditions it piches up to 3500rpm when some Processor hungry apps comes however it s/m is VERY stable at all these heating conditions ps: i am planning 2 build P4 coffemaker !!!!

Vista is not from any of these code base instead it is started frm scratch it has different s/w architecture, not like 2k3 sp1 i think it more modular os like *nix with various subs/ms --Avlon,Aero etc

pal dunno worry I have one with the stock fan same occured 2 me U know 531 showed u a cooler side of Pentium Its successors like 955 has lots more in a extremetech.com review Pentium 4 955 with stock cooling got up to 100c with standby of 85c so be happy of being in cooler side

i think it may due 2 the name u given 2 new file bcoz it exceeds 8.3 naming convention i think, at boot time the loader can only access files in 8.3 format so just rename u r file may it works If i'm wrong plz somebdy correct it

Yes use winISO 2 get the image of the dvd in iso format save the ISO image 2 hdd then open the iso with winISO and add the folder u needed 2 it make sure the ISO is not Read-Only Save the new ISO burn it. WinISO can also burn images

When i connect the net thru GPRS using nokia 7650 phone connected 2 pc via bluetooth, i get only max.of 2 KBytes/s download speed but status of the connection shows connected at 115.2 Kbits/s == atleast 14KBytes/s Iam using M$ drivers for the modem aka "Standard Modem over Bluetooth link" it also indiacate the max speed is 115200bps still why i cant get this speed ? The PCSuite or the modem driver frm nokia are not recognizing the phone (N7650 suite 2 the latest 6.7) My bluetooth dongle is Blutonium BCM2035 the bluetooth driver in the cd provided is by widcom
