  1. Hello ! I wouldn't call this 11 years old PC recent. And surely a PC that old has drivers, at least for Windows 2000. Here, try Nvidia drivers from here. http://blog.livedoor.jp/blackwingcat/archives/1114373.html For your 12 years old videocard GTX670, all drivers starting from 310.70 to driver 359.06 must work. But I would suggest you to try : nVIDIA 310.70 WQHL NVw2k31070.zip About F6 prompt for SCSI/RAID. In short, your ISO needs SATA drivers integrated, but you tried that method already, also tried to switch your motherboard into IDE mode in the BIOS, so I suggest you use a tool similar to WinToHDD and install the system on a spare HDD (not SSD!). Your problem might be the SSD it doesn't want to detect. Then place to your PC and try to boot. Enjoy !
  2. That's not for me to decide what to do with you. I just find it weird why you ask *something that was discussed and answered* again and again, Also, let's imagine you really bought that card. OMG why ??? People warned you, and I personally advised against it . Why would you do it ? Was it like 5 bucks or smth ? The card is only for the office slaves to type texts on it. All of the 1000 series card work on Vista with simple modding involved, except this one. This one will not work on 32bit Vista, you knew it before the "purchase" (if there was a purchase). So just send it back and buy another model.
  3. There's no such thing as GTX 1030 LPE.
  4. There's no such thing as gtX 1030, only GT 1030 (which would be shown on the box of the card you claim to have bought). The only plausible explanation on why you came up with different names - is to spam the forum with numerous duplicate topics . You already asked about your non-existent "GT1030 Ti", then changed to "1030 LPE" and asked again. https://msfn.org/board/topic/184503-drivers-for-the-gigabyte-gtx-1030-lpe-on-vista/?do=findComment&comment=1240476 And all of that you're asking about - was answered in the past for a million of times. And again, only one card named GT 1030 exists in the wild https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/212328/212328 @Tripredacus
  5. WiFi has side channels for sure. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Side-channel_attack
  6. Interesting ! So basically it's the ol' Intel ME, just on steriods. A way around it, maybe wrap some thick aluminum or better copper foil around the module, make a ground wire . Don't forget to isolate the board to prevent shortings.
  7. AstroSkipper, what is your opinion of ClamWin ? This is what I can suggest, I hope it's not russian. Sorry if this question was asked before. Operating system : Windows 98 and newer wikipedia.org/wiki/ClamWin_Free_Antivirus
  8. There's no such thing as 1030 TI . Unless you have your own production line in china.
  9. Or his Chromium simply lacks the proper codecs. As an example, Opera doesn't have H264 codec. And only some of the ungoogled variants have the full set of codecs.
  10. Yes, that's literally what I said in my previous reply, the browser is severely outdated, even for Yahoo. Grab yourself a popcorn and wait for the engine update. Get an endless supply because it will never happen. P.S. I don't know about XP, I'm on Vista.
  11. I'm not surprised because ChinoRussia usually work together. (chinese router+russian spyware in one package=they are happy). I wouldn't use that router.
  12. To be fair, and I always fair, I'm a judge of some sorts - no such dll even present here ! Would be polite to check this browser *before* you posted an article from 11 years old. On the other hand, we must be grateful you didn't find an article from 1986. That upvote I gave you yesterday, was by mistake, retracted now. I used this browser a couple of years ago and observed no such behaviour. The browser was good while it lasted circa (2020-2021), now it's obsolete, struggles with twitter, etc. I'd move back to it, if the engine bumps to say Chrome 103 (at least).
  13. This is a severely outdated info. MITM , DPI - Deep packet inspection will see through it with ease. And it's only a couple of examples I just gave you. Oh, the third one would cross-cookies, or cookie stealing. All of this is easily googlable.
  14. Leaks data to the russians, you could have used search and see for yourself, with proof. https://msfn.org/board/topic/183138-mozilla-and-firefox-has-turned-into-evil-and-lie-to-their-userbase-leave-it-and-go-for-alternatives/?do=findComment&comment=1207584 https://msfn.org/board/topic/183138-mozilla-and-firefox-has-turned-into-evil-and-lie-to-their-userbase-leave-it-and-go-for-alternatives/ And on your favourite website reddit. P.S. Sorry, I don't know who that is. Never heard of that member and the spoons before.
  15. And here: 2 - Of course! Based on my experiences. 3 - Just to clarify, I didn't join whatever crowd you are talking about. I do not have that kind of camp thinking. I am an individual and, for the reasons I have given, I consider these so-called Extended Kernels to be questionable and superfluous. Especially in a productive system. As you know, I am a die-hard fan of Windows XP. Even if there was such an Extended Kernel for Windows XP, I wouldn't use it unless it would be official, which will never happen, though. And as long as Windows 8.1 works and can be used, there is actually no need for such an Extended Kernel anyway. 1 - You have described your one isolated case without giving out the technical details. With the the key words being "Long time ago", which means it was made by another programmer. Was it sufficient ? I shan't write my opinion, remarks or evaluate your sentences, I don't want you to consider me impolite. I'll just highlight some of them. "..additional kernel functions are needed, one has to change to another OS" "..functions are no longer sufficient, the user will have to change the operating system by necessity". 2 - Based on my experiences, I use a fantastic kernel by @win32, and have no troubles with it, works out of the box. And it's not a "so-called" Extended Kernel, it's a marvellous one ! The question is, will there be the same quality kernel for the OS being discussed. 3 - Oh I see, sorry , just a coincidence then, simple coincidence. Happens all the time.
  16. Several "Eclipse members" got special permissions to post wherever they want ? And my innocent on-topic post, where I agreed to help a German fella, suggested to write me via PM, and said I love Germany - gets deleted without notice - why ?!!??! @Tommy, care to explain ? Let me remind, I ignore all attacks the certain pack of members ignite, just like I promised you.
  17. 1 - Why ? Elaborate please. 2 - Personally you, undertstandable , your choice of course . Astroskipper, why would you join the anti-kernel crowd all of a sudden ? And exactly now ! Please tell me, if it's no secrtet.
  18. Thank you very much ! I sincerely hope it stays that way.
  19. legacyfan was granted a special permission ? I read off-topic posts here were promised to be blocked, no ?
  20. Aren't you forgetting you got me blocked for the 73416481471906th time ?
  21. My friend, in that case , I'm up for the both of them ! Yes, I agree with you - natural death would be much more humane.
  22. Yes, very true, I'm all up for depopulation !
  23. Unfortunately I'm yet not completely immortal, but I'm heading in the right direction. I have my ancestors' spellbok and it works. I'll not go into the detalis, but I already made myself 20 years younger, it's cool, I'm satisfied. My opinion it's very good. As of now, I can only harvest energy (leech) , the subjects need to be not far away. I'm still learning, but the ultimate goal is to take it to another level (like suck the life force). It's yet another one of my hobbies, along with computers , Windows Vista and making new friends. EDIT: maybe I will try to perform it over a distance soon.
  24. Yes, it will. That's why I gave a bit older iCafe driver link , don't use the later one the guy from the above suggested from the nVidia site !
  25. Then you have your choice to move to the "wonderful Eclipse" for the 9673845807507th time and don't spam my Opera topic and don't show disrespect to @win32's marvellous work !
