Anyone here got LinkedIn to work with New Moon 28? If not that, any alternatives? The home page never loads. Also, how safe are these browser alternatives? Would you trust them for banking?

Does anyone here have any problems with NM28.10.4a1 using LinkedIn? The top toolbar doesn't load but I'm still investigating various settings to see that works but so far no luck.

I used this and works! Though I did have a few minor issues. The portable version leaves an empty directory "AppData\Local\Moonchild Productions\Pale Moon" or "Local Settings\Moonchild Productions\Pale Moon" for XP where I need to manually delete it after I close the browser. Does anyone see any residual files or directories anywhere else that should be manually deleted?

Thank you everyone! It took a bit of time but I got Good Old Games to work with New Moon 28. I followed these instructions: https://msfn.org/board/topic/182647-my-browser-builds-part-3/?do=findComment&comment=1206460 A warning, the New Moon thread has 2 major versions, NM27 and NM28. NM27 is the one that is being updated very frequently so you need to go back a few pages to find NM28. NM27 does not work with Good Old Games. Also, the portable version, while portable still leaves traces of "Moonchild Productions/Pale Moon" in the my app directory when it closes so that has to be deleted manually as well.

I'm unsure how to use NewMoon but I'll try and figure it out. Portable version preferred. Do you have any problems with https://www.gog.com/games on NewMoon?

Used Portable Firefox 52 ESR. Walmart.com worked great until this month when they updated the website and now it doesn't work. Can't add to the cart. Parts of (Good Old Games) https://www.gog.com/games does not work. Are there any options in getting these websites to work in XP?

Thinking about updating an important Vista Machine. For a Vista machine from scratch until the latest 2008 updates, what's everyone's experience when running all these patches? Besides Windows Defender, have there been any stability issues or even small problems when running these?

Can something similar be done with KB4494528 so I don't have to remember that I need to run " regsvr32 MSI.DLL" 10 years from now? What are some good simple options automate everything in this thread so that 10 years down the line, when I need to reinstall XP, I remember all this stuff?

What host OS are you using? I've been doing some testing things are running ok with a Debian Host but with a Windows 7 Host, I keep getting errors everywhere.

Is there a way to repackage KB4507456 so it never installs the telemetry parts in the first place? What options we do we have to modify this package?

Has anyone installed this on VirtualBox 5.1 or higher? I'm trying a few and I'm getting occasional random crashes and random complete sound loss until reboot. Is there a way to create a virtual USB stick?
