Well, during that days you're talking about, Germany was especially globalistic - using the labour of foreign workes to produce goods, so it's nothing new. It doesn't matter what ideology is being used to cover the deception ! What he meant - it's exactly otherwise, I'm sure his posts have nothing to do with racism, albeit being offtopic.I want to buy Swiss cheese, so as jaclaz wants to buy Italian made pasta made by Italian workes and he wants to use an AV made in Germany by the trusted Germans, real Germans with no ties to other foreign (hostile) nations. There's nothing wrong with being able to choose what we want, as customers. That being said, I hope you understand he was joking about 15 generations and whatnot, but I still I hope jaclaz will suggest us an option regarding , say Italian made antivirus, I don't mind to use Italian software at all. I like Italian goods, also.

Hi and welcome, Frances ! I'm a computer hobbyist who holds a military rank (officer), I'm cheerful, sociable, like to go clubbing and making new friends, I don't have any thick/annoying accents, non-smoker, rarely drinking, sport and active lifestyle oriented. I don't need a visa to go to most of the coolest countries. The location details are in my account. The photo in my profile is mine. And what about you ?

Can I execute that tool on a live Win installation ? I wrote the description by the Dutch developer, he says "e.g. Mounted VHD". jaclaz, have you ever tried it yourself ?
-
Could this be the reason why win7 is painfully slow, esp. on boot ? Why when I turn on any win7 PC, I hear billions of reads-writes per second ? It doesn't happen with Vista. Thanks. PS. I even tried on a very fast HDD , like Raptor.

I too always recommend German software/goods as I find them to be one of the best. https://msfn.org/board/topic/184130-cloning-windows-2008-onto-a-new-disk/?do=findComment&comment=1230660 Unfortunately, I don't know any German-made antivirus for XP or Vista. Panda is Spanish, I think. Anyways, with German software one would need to make sure it's made by the Germans, since many software makers just registered there and the workers are not of Germanic origin.

XPerceniol, it's so cool you got yourself ressurected ! We (legacyfan and I) were literally drowning ourselves in rivers of pain and sorrows, walking the plains of despair... We (legacyfan and I) had honoured you and your departure in a dedicated topic called "XPerceniol Memorial Of Honour". Unfortunately it was locked - "thanks" to another user and his outrageously unrespectful behaviour. Now I heard a rumour, @legacyfanis going to create a topic to honour your presence with a short poem as an introduction. -

Well, why would it matter ? The OS existed in the IA-64 form, and someone from Western Europe can still use it. As for the wrong x64 name, I agree ! -
What was the point of this discussion then ?

Try Microsoft WHQL ones then. Don't forget to clean up that "security update" driver crap with DDU first (before you try another or the previous driver that worked). https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
-
Then it must be a "security only" update to the last 391.35, try 391.35.
-
391.xx range can't be from 2022. It's 2017 or so. Besides, not seeing this version anywhere. Is it chinese iCafe ?
-
How old was the driver exactly ? Old-old, simply a bit older, or old enough to be my mother ? Or, was it ancient, pre-historic ?

Technically speaking, it's an error. Windows 2000 existed only as IA-64, not x64 ! It was a very rare OS shared only with a limited set of manufacturers, and only in Western Europe ! You aren't getting a copy ! Windows Whistler build 2285 exists and it's also IA64, not x64. An example is Fujitsu-Siemens, they developed an IA64 CPU earlier than Intel. Articles deleted or never existed in the first place. Found some hard proof . Scroll to the bottom and you will see - Scott Bekker is (now most likely was) editor in chief of Redmond Channel Partner magazine., on July 05, 2000 he wrote : "..Fujitsu-Siemens also demonstrated a 64-bit Itanium box." Again, Fujitsu-Siemens made an an IA64 CPU earlier than Intel, so they needed an IA64 system, and the system it ran was IA-64 Windows 2000 Datacenter. https://rcpmag.com/articles/2000/07/05/fujitsusiemens-sets-benchmark-on-datacenter-server.aspx And again, only for the Western European market ! "Fujitsu-Siemens demonstrated its system today at Microsoft TechEd Europe in Amsterdam." -

I meant his ECC reg server board, because like I said, I had no troubles with the usual haswell board made in the early 2012 and Win2000 Pro (like Tommy wrote). -
This could be the result of your interventions/alterations to the native skin, or maybe purely XP bug ? I didn't see anything *even remotely similar* with the version 13.5, but I didn't use the acid-coloured XP skin of yours, I took mine from the older 12th version. That being said, to be fair, I did notice the bug you describe with some of the Ungoogled versions. For example, chromium 102 has that weird flash bug, whereas 110/111 doesn't. It's much less apparent on Aero systems, even with a mediocre GPU. Solutions may involve trying to use the original dark theme, turning the aero back on, or updating the drivers to the 36x.xx range, I know XP can't go beyond the 36x.xx range.

I think Tommy is right. The culprit is the rare Datacenter mobo. On a standard Haswell machine from 2012 I had zero problems with win2000. I didn't bother myself with SATA and just switched to IDE and everything worked fine. I used an old dusty GTX680 that I had for almost 12 years (reference edition). I had a lot of OEM made desktops, I even came across some of them being locked to a certain version of drivers ! -

Oh, it must be the consequences of me getting drunk in a bar with that well known member while having an adult conversation. Thanks for bringing that important information to my attention ! It's very pleasant to know my posts are under restless and caring observation, and none of my mistakes go unnoticed. The wrong reference to the website's language has been removed from the post.
