Ublock Origin Lite (MV3) vs AdGuard MV3 Chromium Extensions
XPerceniol replied to a topic in Web Browsers
Thank you :) -
I'm sorry to hear that and sorry the words just aren't there this morning to offer up anything that would be supportive as I feel like a walking zombie cadaver. Its s struggle to maintain that mirth this time of the year, for me anyway. Me, I feel sort of dead inside.

Hi @UCyborg dare I ask; how are you managing overall? Hopefully better than myself as I sit here I'm completely and utterly numb this morning and sometimes I feel as I'm losing my grip on reality (even though my reality is my own little bubble ... but being out in public stresses me and I've had to be in it as of late) Sounds like you're going through a lot of crap. I also ask myself "what's the point" when my life is in the Rear-view Mirror. Ugh... trying not to be depressing guys, but at least you know I'm genuine; regardless to my efforts to pretend otherwise.

Thank you for everything you do to keep us up and running, xper; and we are all very grateful to you and the rest of the MSFN staff the their efforts and what they do for this forum and to keep us safe, and we understand you are busy and have a life apart from the forum. All the best and happy holidays to you and yours and happy new year in advance EDIT: Corrections

Webp Virus, fears, nightmares, suggestions, or exodus from the internet?
XPerceniol replied to Dixel's topic in Web Browsers
You guys have me searching for this thread, so I hope @Sampei.Nihira you can find a way to recover/restore it. I'd like to read it even though I never use Webrtc on my browsers. Or, perhaps, you can post your article in another thread regarding this topic to share this article that you seem to have deleted before I caught it because I was offline. Thanks and be well.- 126 replies

Sort of struggling myself as it gets closer but I'll keep that to myself for the better of everyone else. Its a very hazy and muddled morning for me today - hope everybody else (still reading this thread) is doing well and I mean that from the heart.

HI Jody, how are you managing during this holiday season, I hope well. I was posting over at: https://www.xpforums.com/ https://www.xpforums.com/threads/arcticfoxie-notheretoplaygames-360chrome-v13-5.934711/page-6 I hope that answered your question. Have a merry Christmas and happy new year if we don't hear from you sooner. Sal -
^That was supposed to be animated ... Oh well, could be more this morning. The countdown begins to Monday. I expect it to be quiet (just the way I like it). Wishing everyone well as per usual.

No its not just you - a lot of postings have gone away. I posted 11 postings the morning before the breakdown and they are gone. Plus, the forum is acting just a bit funny for me, or is it just me? -

I still love Bert Kaempfert and once posted songs in this thread myself but can't seem to locate it and I can really only be on MSFN in the mornings now so I don't have time to dig through to find it, but wanted to tell you His music was soo soothing. Most people don't realize that his music was widely used for dancers to do the Foxtrot

^You're very welcome I went ahead and removed the key ([HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adlice Software]) in regedit and removed all traces to started over this morning just for you and took some screen shots that might be of some help. EDIT: Sorry about the late edit but I realized I didn't really give enough information and it bothers me to leave something incomplete. The custom scan only took me about 11 minutes with Rogue Killer being on full priority.

Please also don't forget about rogue killer that still supports XP https://www.adlice.com/roguekiller/ i have it on my system and I has in the past found malware that I was not aware of. I don't use the "Real Time" (they offer "Real Time" )but only the portable "On Demand" free scanner because I can not afford to purchase any license right now and it just works. You have the option to select a trial for personal use that will last for 1 month but that can be reset by a simple reedit and removal of all traces, but I don't do that anymore and I allow the nag to upgrade but my machine hasn't been infected in ages now because I usually look at the same old mundane nonsense every day. Ha! I hope that at least gives folks another option.

Can you believe it?! I know, where did this year go? Do you have any special plans? For me it should be quiet just the way I prefer it. Its also very nice to see your reply here this morning. Yeah Covid was rough and I don't feel 100% just yet but I do feel like I'm getting there and thank you for the well wishes; I know my body is strong and my immune system will kick it and I'm starting to treat my body better and eat right. You've very welcome about my posting and support - its genuine and true and from the heart. I meant every word as also I did in the other thread. We understand that you've not been active, breaks are cool and needed sometimes but I'm sorry you feel drained (I also feel drained most of the time but for other reasons such as being around people stresses me) and lost interest in tech stuff - that is ok but I'm more concerned that you've list interest in other hobbies, do you know why? You don't have to answer, of course. Ok you've stored away your computers (hopefully safely so as to take care of them) you could perhaps fire them up one day when you're feeling up to it and at least update the OS and browsers ... might make you feel better and restore your interest in tech again but no rush, of course. So long as your happy with your devices and computer(s) that do what they need to for to get by. Bummer (more than a bummer really) I'm sorry you had to go through that with this special person and that August, September, October, and November all melted together after that, I do hope you have someone to talk to about this because keeping things bottled up inside isn't good but I know spilling your guts on a public forum isn't for everybody, but we're here regardless. I wish you luck with the new job and good that is taking up your time and hopefully you'll build working relationships with the other co-workers but keep your expectations realistic and don't force or rush into divulging too much right away, just be yourself and you're already kind and true and the right people will gravitate towards you and you'll attract like-minded folks. That being said, don't be afraid either and besides you're working for the paycheck and you're be able to purchase a new wardrobe soon. The way you portray yourself in life is so important sometimes. Glad you can back here and found time share a bit about your life taking into account your busy with your new job. Good luck and please forgive my sometimes messy wording and you can be sure I'll be editing this more than a few times to make its makes sense hopefully before you read it Lol. When I write I prefer to write raw and edit later this is more genuine for me. And of course as usual, no rush to reply or need to reply at all. Be well and be YOU.

Chrome 115 working on Windows XP 32 bit
XPerceniol replied to sparty411's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
I also don't use "Real Time" AV (I don't even use DEP on my machines) and I test with Malwarebytes and Rogue Killer, but rarely do I bother much anymore either as I don't do anything sensitive on my age old machines. BTW @dmiranda do you mind if I react and quote your postings here anymore? I appreciated that you were one of a few to welcome me back here. I just want to make sure I'm in intruding or making anyone uncomfortable but my presence here. Have a good one. -

Chromium 115 for Windows XP without One Core Api
XPerceniol replied to Iron_Wind0ws's topic in Windows XP
Yes, its a great suggestion @mina7601 has given us but given my low hardware capabilities I'd likely struggle to run these up to date browsers anyway (but I'll still test them and try), so, I also plan to continue to use ArcticFoxie/NotHereToPlayGames -- 360Chrome v13.5.1030 Redux and Mypal 68 until they really stop working on the many sites I also use.
