well a good vid card in one will prolly be an x700, the dual layer adds alot to the price. it will be hard to find a good one under 1000$. why not just get a desktop, much much much better gaming. take a look here for some laptops http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....Submit=Property

you could try autoit3 so that when u run the au3 file, it will change the reg values for the service(not sure if explorer need to be restarted or what), then it will start up the program, then when you exit it will change the reg values again.

i cant wait for ryanvm's new pack too. friday is the estimated date for it to be out. he was suppose to be back sunday from his honeymoon and he needs to test out the new pack which may take a couple of days if there are some errors. so who know, might be out tomorrow.

place the router as high as possible, like on top of a bookshelf. and do not but it near anything that will block the signal like any type of metal or tile. with my router it used to have to go trough a wall which was the bathroom and there is tile on the bathtub's wall, then i rearranged the room so that the router wasnt by that wall and my signal is better.

you should never have a wireless card located above the router, the signal going up is horrible. the router send the signal down and out. try plugging the router+modem into a cable line upstairs and see how much better of a signal you get. if its much better then you can consider keeping it upstairs and get a 10$ wirelss card for you comp downstairs. the 10$ card is at newegg and works amazing.

i can play all of these(havnt tried act of war) with an amd athlon xp mobile 1600, 320m integrated graphics with 63megs of ram, 768 ram. and i can play doom 3 on it but its kind of laggy for my cooling i am using 2 books under the laptop b/c the intake for the fan is on the bottom, makes no sense. get a leather carrying case

thats what i have to do but i dont want to need to do this, its just annoying does anyone know how to make a mini image of the cd? it has no file protection so it should be easy, i dont have room on my hard drive for the whole disk. if i went this way then i dont need to worry about the problem.

did u go into the device mager, select the firewire, and install it from there?

well im trying to install warcraft II b/c its such a great game, when it tries to run the setup.exe, it just does nothing, so i removed the cd and i got this an error saying gcasDtServ.exe(ms antispyware) and please insert disk(or something like that). so what i did was ended that process and the install went fine. but now everytime i want to play warII, ms antispyware wont let it, is it scaning the disk or something?

they are amazing, the x-fi, best buy is the only know place that has them in the US.

well if the clock is the wrong time then its b/c of the system battery that is on ur mobo. does the comp just randomly restart? list all of ur comp specs.

well someone over at XS did it and their comp wouldnt even power on but you should be able to do it. that card allows you to sue dual power supplies? is that right? i would just remove it if i were you and if it doesnt power on then just put it back in.

i dont see why there is a reason to do it unless you have 2 crappy comps that you want to make into a normal comp

well like he's said many times, he cant just realease it for free to people, considering its not even done yet and they need to go through some legal issues until they can actually start selling it. dont yell at this guy just b/c he cant give you the program, if you wait good things will happen, and hopefully this program will change how we fight against viruses,adaware,etc. 1000 posts!!!! :)

they do have sound, but you will not be able to hear it well if u have dial up, what internet do u have?
