right click desktop, properties,settings, right click on screen 2 that is in the pic, click attached, then make sure that it is highlighted,advanced,adapter,list all modes, then i think that you would want 848x480 true color 32bit 60hertz

my "my documents" folder is moved to a different partition than where windows is installed. if i were to do a clean install of xp then would that folder be deleted thats on the other partition?

well i would recommend going s939 but if u want so save money then you can get s754 if u want to. that board will be fine for you. are you planning on getting the M2 in 2 years? i think its coming out next year but it will take a little while till they fix all of the bugs and stuff.

well the 3000 venice is s939 the 2800 is either s754(A64) or sA(Sempron) the 3000 is the better of the two by alot the venice has the E3 stepping which is the best out so far, handles memory alot better and it runs cooler

crap i ment restuner, ive just been playing with my registry alot the last view days. so the icon is pretty much transparent and u can right click on it and stuff like that? if so then make sure that you deleted the icon in restuner, otherwise i have no clue.

that is the problem! he wont have bars b/c the lcd is widescreen. you ever use the widescreen gameboy? you could change it to normal screen then there would be black on the left and right. hakeem- please change your resolution to widescreen

well you could just hide it, or you could edit it with regtuner and delete the icon and it wont appear but may cause some instability with the program

partition magic doesnt do it! ive tried. its suppose to but all it does it screws up your boot so you end up reinstalling xp and it makes the new install a c: drive

what are you guys smoking? get a gig or ram if it comes with 512. if it comes with 256 then buy an extra 512. 1gig is the recommended ram to have for xp and 512 is pretty much the minimum. now dont say that its 512 and 256, thats what MS says but they are wrong. convince your mother to let you upgrade your current desktop! tell her that all you need is a mobo,cpu,ram,and vid card

yes you can, you most likely wont have issues but it should be able to work fine

well what about games without any protection, just a cd check, games like starcraft and warcraft II i can play with a copy of the disk. for warcraft II the best that i could do was use isobuster and delete all of the file except intstall.exe which is still like 450megs and it worked. but thats still huge!
