yes, u can get a ramdrive/ramdisk or u can get a 15k hdd in raid0

update all drivers run memtest on ur ram overnight

also if they need someone to fix their comp they obviously they dont know alot about how to make ur comp fast and how to keep it clean from viruses,adawre,etc. those things make ur comp slow so thats why theirs is slower than your.

get a 3200, then get a dfi nf4 ultra-d or sli-dr(if u want sli) dont get a 6800, get at least a gt, or maybe you should just wait till u can get more money. you said by the end of this year who should have a better idea of how much ur going to have? if so then just wait unless you really need it for like typing papers or something like that. if u could get 2k then that would help you out alot

well i did look in all of the sunday flyers too and nothing... i dont like generics, ide rather have quality i go through cds like crazy too, went through 100 in about a month

well if ur not having an problems with the 66.* drivers then just use those, there is obviously some incompitiblity with the two cards.

dont get the 36gig raptor, get the 74gig, the 36 sucks compared to the 72 i would get sataII tho if ur mobo supports it

hasnt loaded my video drivers? why is it then that when i install windows and have not installed my vid drivers yet, that i am able to set my desktop resolution to 1024x768?

i was thinking of ogg. what if i decompressed the mp3's to wave then encoded it to something else? or would that still not help

what is the best music format(mp3,wav,etc) i want to change my mp3's to something that might sound better but i dont want it to take like 5x as much space

wow this sucks, just ordered some cd-r's from newegg today, after 4 hours its on step 4 so im like sweet. and then i noticed that its coming from their californa warehouse and then im like f*** b/c the new jersey warehouse is way closer. i checked on mapquest and the NJ warehouse is a 6 hour drive from me and the CA is 38 hours! there goes getting the disks tomorrow unless they go by air. i think that newegg should allow you to see how much they have in stock of an item at each warehouse so that u will how long it will take to ship check out the long drive!
