aim ad hack gets rid of all of the ads and added shortcuts/programs that aim adds to the system. so im just going to stick with it since i have not had any problems with it.
@atomizer-why not use aim? i did run aim ad hack which gets rid of all of the crap put on the system. i have aim and i get absolutely nothing on my comp. my dad uses thunderbird, but for firefox its the sites that my sister goes to. and the xp on it is nlited, same exact as what is on my comp until i do my next install in a few days with ryanvm's new update pack and my UA programs which i am putting together @877136-i do use hijackthis and i do get rid of what i think is bad
the switch for vlc is /S but the problem is that i want to do a full install where i click some boxes for what i want to install. does any1 know how i should do this via a switch or should i just use autoit??
u will need to use both of them, they both will give you problems sometimes, use partition magic as ur main program and if it gives you an error on something then use acronis for that task.
haha, ur in the marching band! i feel sorry for you b/c of the hurricane but hopefully it will flood a cross country coarse for me plz tell us(me) when you get ur stuff in so we can have some fun overclocking it if u want to.
now what would be the advantage of a limited account? would the adaware/spyare/viruses still infect the admin's account? and ive also been thinking of possibly setting up a dual boot.
what do u mean by recovery cd? do u want it to include al of the crappy programs that came with the system? you should have been given some kind of cd tho, or maybe it is on you hard drive and you need to burn it.
sorry, i thought u were talking about the router. are you sure ur typing in the static ip stuff right? check ur laptop, go to run, cmd, ipcofig /all then take that info and put the same onto the other comp but just change the ip address
ya i use that site but i like the images instead of nocd patches b/c with the nocd, everytime a new patch comes out u need to wait a few weeks for a nocd patch to come out too
