mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813130468 MSI K8N NEO2 PLATINUM which is s939, agp, and nforce3 cpu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103537 3000 venice what ram is that? and do u plan on overclocking? if i u can afford to get nforce4 and a pci-e card then do it! nforce4 allows ALOT of expandability in the future
so what code am i suppose to use? do u have an example script of it that i can see? and what im doing is telling it to find the disk with the label "xpcd" or whatever it is called?
i have a value in the reg that is in binary code and i want to use that code to put into a reg file that i can run that will add that value into the registry. the only problem is, is that i cant paste the binary code into textpad, so how should i go about doing this?
im pretty sure that this has been asked before but i cant find it well im going to be using virtual cd drives to test out my xpcd on vmware and how should i go about doing it with autoit. i have a drive f: h: i: j: . and i could possibly use any of them for my install, how can i make it generic to select what drive to install stuff from b/c i will be installing programs from the cd. or to make it easier would you just suggest copying all of the programs to the c: drive, then install them, then delete them?
i got it all worked out now, im not using the cmd files, i did it all in AU3 RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & 'start /w c:\installs\wrar3501.exe /s', "", @SW_HIDE) thats part of the code, this is what i originally needed
well when was the last time that you reinstalled xp? google for bootvis and find a guide for it too. it should help alot, also go to run and type in msconfig, then look at the startup programs and uncheck the ones that you dont need.
did u follow what i said before? leaving out that 1 step of selecting the screen? the resolution on ur pc will be screwed up but fine on ur comp also try 1152x864 some comps dont have all of the widescreen resolution as others do, just pick one that is widescreen and you should be fine
how do u have ur tv connected then? do you have your video driver installed? edit: nvm, i just checked my other comp and it doesnt have it, just try it without that step
