  1. well im just telling you that its pointless. a 600w gamextream is overkill, get the 700w if your feeling like it. but these will not help you in overclocking. if u want good overclocking then take that money and get watercooling.
  2. lol, well it was actually like that the whole time, there are no signs of a thermal paste or a way to mount a heatsink. but 33mhz cant create that much heat... but i know that it uses ALOT of voltage.
  3. gskill is not a nonamed brand!
  4. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....mp;N=2000010069 so you would want something like a card reader ^^^ that plugs into the usb headers of ur mobo? but u dont need cards, u just need a bunch of usb ports?
  5. yep, no heatsink.... i dont know anything about the cpu/mobo tho, as my friends comp was dead to begin with.
  6. 32mb card to even have the ability to play it... you need a 256 card if u want no lag
  7. check for a patch at the lucasarts website
  8. the video card and ram looks good, what mobo u have? and why so much power? just get an ocz gamexstream 600w and you'll have plenty of power.
  9. oh i highly highly doubt that such a thing exists...
  10. is that computer viewable in the network? and are u able to do other command to that comp such as netsend?
  11. could be ur pagefile or it could be temp files
  12. bill gates needs to pull that stick out of his a**!
  13. ya thats what im waiting for, lol. but it looks likes he's forgotten about us
  14. oh, sry then. have u gone thru the genuine check? have u tried that little update icon in the taskbar?
  15. umm... well why would u go to windows update for your drivers? go to the manufacturers site and get the drivers from them.
  16. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=4087 some great news here. the 7900gs is pci-e and is 200$. it can be overclocked to beat the 7900gt! although it only has 20 pipes compared to the 7900gt's 24 pipes. http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/945/
  17. the warcraftIII are pretty good i think. but ur last statement there... i mentioned that too, and thats one of my main point about games today, the graphics will be good anyways. so how are we supposed to pick gameplay or grahpics? there has to be extremes. like oblivion type gameplay with 16bit colors, or oblivion hdr graphics but with some pointless annoying game. btw, i like ur avatar. i have a 33mhz 486 sitting right next to me, i just pulled it from a friends vry old como, its so fun to play with i cant beleive that they didnt even use a heatsink with it...
  18. jeremy-hopefully you are able to compare diskeeped and this new perfectdisk. im using diskeeper, i just like it better, but maybe if u can tell us whats better
  19. as i said i fixed it thru chkdsk
  20. incompatible with what? first off we need to know ur comps full specs, then we can assess the problem from there.
  21. have you ever considered getting a conroe? i would not order from compusa... newegg.com is the best place. if you can give me a budget and a list of all the parts you need, ill be happy to configure you an amd/intel comp.

    BSOD

i think that its just a vista problem. ive gotten that a couple of times i think with rc1, pre-rc1 gave me those errors all of the time... and im 24hrs prime stable.
  23. You shan't have any problem with Nvidia. i tried 3 different linux's and all said that my vid card was unsupported and it wouldnt install.
  24. what mobo and cpu? an x1900 would be nice, or a 7900gt/gtx
  25. lets do it! lol. i want a c2d so much
