i read that your board can do 1.4v, which isnt much at all... for 3ghz you would most likely need at least 1.5v. do you have any of the amd drivers for dual core installed? also the dual core optimizer? http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/Techni...1_13118,00.html

on the other ide channel? so you have 1 hdd on ide 1 and 1 hdd on ide 2? what about your cd drive?

how high is ur voltage set to?

what are you stressing it with? aegis here is completely right. there at pretty much 0 dual core programs out there, which means only 1 core will work.

is the hdd detected in the bios and/or xp setup? also, try another sata cable.

hyper threading is pretty much virtual dual core, i would definetly consider turning it on later as long as it doesnt lag. but a bios update should fix this problem. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyper-threading

well i'de have to guess its the mobo. but have you tried setting your ram on a divider? and how are you testing your oc? and what heatsink/temps do you have?

well has anyone had any luck getting it to dual boot with xp x64? i want to test this out some more but i cant b/c i cant get the dual boot working...

well talking about that, how do i do that? when i installed vista it had me make a username and i can only select from that 1 name when i login...

most likely the monitor, my friends monitor is in the process of dying right now... try plugging it in to another source such as a laptop to confirm that it is the monitor.
