  1. Caiway (the netherlands) 4mbit dl 0,5mbit up 20gb/m CAB (but officialy is Fair use, so i wont get billed right away) €30.- ( x1.25 ~ $37,50)
  2. - if scotland isn't a (semi-) independant country, than we probably have a problem here - as Austrailia - also falls under rule of the brittisch monarch... quite tempting to say that walles and scotland arn't countries. but i would never dare say london is the capital of scottland - if i were some were in Edinburgh
  3. im using an acer witch actualy is GREAT mine a 17inc lcd with a cristal coating and high brightness. example: Acer AL1751 AS (8ms dsup / dvi) - Eur: 230 ~ E.275
  4. read before you post anything: check <this> post
  5. UPDATE : Microsoft revokes / Not Prolongs, ATI chipset licence... this means, if its true, there will only be an Nforce chipset left for professional Workstations. it this in fact is true, i dare to geuss that the conrou might be loosing some market share by loosing those wanted a conrou with an ati crossfire - as also migrating from ati crosfire to nvidia sli willl 'most likely' cost mutch more that the power gain of buying conroe instead of opteron / althon FX chips. based on the inquirer....
  6. true but some1 could first charge up his/her paypall accound (with a credit card) befor paying you - right? just takes 1 extra step to buy
  7. what might be a good idea would be to get all resources on a website... and let those guys who want to pick up some of them, the only thing would be to require is that the images would/should be released in a gpl-like manor (so for example, the backgrounds, and diferent parts of the immages, are also stored seperately, for re-use purposes)....
  8. i think you should look into editing txtsetup.sif - but test it in vmware because you probably have to try a few (Grinz evilly) times....
  9. what you probably want is a rather basic linux setup. with webmin (for server managament) and WEB-CP:// for webhosting managament... if you look at irc controlls there are quite a few webmin modules for those kinds of task... what the best setup is or best distro i leave it up to the *REAL* pro's btw you might want to look around at <this> website
  10. not that id ever believe thas the Us Gov is using windows for thair millitairy im thinging HP-X or some sort of other Unix (nut linux) version
  11. it all depends on how you build xpize and your your source's are storred... probably one would nead a high compressed archige like LMZA *7zip uses it for example) filled with bitmap files creating a theme would be way to easy but rewriting the file-patcher-code would take at least 'some' time....
  12. and like i said before and it gets quite disturbing that - so many "users" bash vista. Now let me ask you this... How many of you guys actualy spend time trying to fix your problems, befor bashing at microsoft, how many of you actualy send a bug-report to MS, how many of you (guru's) actualy took a dictionairy at hand and looked up the word: BETA or BETA SOFTWARE?????? i realy wonder...... (btw: why posting the same massage twice matrix-didn't you know about the edit function?)
  13. i know he said it -- but id ceriously KICK your *a*** if you'd have abandoned on us before you even told someone how you did it ....
  14. you mean like????? creating a sort of cab files with resource files witch il will insert ..... ???? so you can have a kind of - your own theme?

    WGA

    didn't even know n'or notice
  16. btw - who the .......#$!@# says its the end of USP 5....?
  17. -I-

    WGA

actualy they dont exist... for win2k and why should there be, MS doesn't release any new features for windows 2k, and sercurity fixes are installed on windows xp without WGA also, so any stuf that MS wants WGA for, wil not be released for 2k anyways so why bother....
  18. Welcome back /G may your recovery be swift and without glitches now....
  19. DUH, A: its bete zo now true optimzations B: your running Extreme edition (beta are build of the huge-memory-edition). for this full power version of vista you probably should have a premium designe pc stuf like: 1gb ram (2gb recomended) 128mb vga card (256 recomanded)
  20. LOL in your case its the beta-issue thingy... but its true VISTA should have NEVER be given the 256mb requirement status. but very much 512 instead. ... BTW 1 other thing, This beta 2 is of the ultimate edition and for a laptop you should NEVER use ultimate bet BASIC or Profesional Basic instead, as Earo is probably not somthing you want on a 17 inc LCD monitor, and about nobody ever uses Media center on a laptop. - so why bother for the extra charge... - for a laptop i thing vista wil improve mainly in the security and stability isues and thats what laptops are for anyway...

    New Random Poll

D@MN ITS COLD OUT HERE... dont have a seefood thingy but i don't eat snail-like creatures. give me a salman or some, gimmy a brunette, jummie, long curly hair - windows 2000, (maybe windows xp64 in some cases) and some linux here and there... i find Zenwalk-linux to be quite oke for laptop use (but as of new versions it doesn't work realy well for me yet), and im still lokking for a good x64 linux distro if there is one with xfce (but am not sure if even that exists now).
  22. ive never had any probs with any of them, but i still dont like ext3 verry mutch... and usualy just take ReiserFS (witch btw, has some limited windows support as well (if you want to dual boot)
  23. maybe this is something for you Link
  24. lol as MSFN is international forum, its quite normal to use english as the official language - for ALL users to understand. i wouldn't even dream about posting on forums / newsgroups / mailing lists and irc-channels in any other language than english its also part of the net-etiquettes to : try and be polite, and understendeble for al logged-in users, using another language doesn't help then - does it:P Met vriendelijke groet (and kind regards )
