Seen it b4, but not a bad concept. There are, however, much better distro's than this one. Mandrake 9 or Red Hat 9 r the go. But then again, there are alot of exploits/security loopholes for these distro's and it is a pain to patch them...

i use coolfreepages.com cuz they provide script support 4 php4 and mysql so i can run ibf. The downside is i only get 50 megs. Anyone know if any of those support php and mysql?

I would say that the processor is the bottleneck of the whole thing. It isn't capable of delivering the processing speed required my wmp9 4 the visualisations. I hav the same prob on my pc. I fixed it by disabling visualisations, cuz they just annoy me anyway and hog resources

agreed , and btw i think the ram issue did not greatly affect ur startup as i had try with 64mb, 96mb with no prob... just take bout 20sec I got 128 in mine and its a 300mhz cyrix and it boots in like 30 secs or less

Go into ur admin tools, and disable anything that refers to something like "require authentication to log on" in both the win2k and 2k3 machine. This is what is causing ur logon problems. If im wrong, or inaccurate but on the right track regarding this problem, someone please correct me, but i think that is whats causing the problem.
