money is money, and u need money 2 get ahead in life, and if u want an it related job later on that is the way to go, start off in a small shop like that. U need experience in the it industry to get a job, and its very hard to get a job later if u hav no experience. If computers are what u want to do 4 a living, then u should start gaining experience now

u could try the local computer shops but it's unlikely u will get a job there...I mean im 18 and i cant even get a job in em and im more than qualified for the job

hav u got another pc at home u can try ur monitor on? If so try it on that and c if u get the same thing. Also check the power cable at the back to make sure its not loose.

check the mobo as well to make sure nothin has come loose or been plugged in backwards, everything will still power up but the sys will just hang when it tries to go thru the POST if the cable is backwards, or the drive is a dud. If that fails and everything is plugged in, try the drive in another pc. If the same thing happens in there, then take the drive back to where u got it from

check ur hdd cable to make sure that u hav plugged it in so the red stripe on the cable connects to pin 1 of the IDE connector. If u got it backwards ur pc wont boot at all

In order to get rid of the worm, it requires booting to dos from a non-infected startup disk, and at the command prompt typing in attrib -r -a -s -h and then deleting the infected files by using the delete command. If u dont kno how to use it, at the command prompt type delete /?. This will tell u how to use it. Deleting them will not have any effect on ur system, but u will need to create a new restore point if u use system restore. U cannot delete them from windows cuz windows me locks the files in the hidden _restore directories so u cant delete them, as windows is constantly writing restore info to it. Once you've done this turn off ur pc, and run a virus scan on ur comp to ensure the virus is gone.

Im not sure, but i think its possible, it will require u to install win98 on the 1st partition however. U will hav to install DOS/win3.1 on the second partition and it will hav to be the first os that u install. U will also need to set up a boot menu in ur autoexec.bat and config.sys files in order to be able to boot into win3.1. U need to set up the commands something similar to this (someone correct me if im wrong, its been quite a while since i done this): config.sys [common] place ne device drivers in here that u need to load in both configurations [win98] ne device drivers in here that u need to load only in win98 [win31] ne device drivers in here that u need to load only in win3.1 [menu] MENUITEM=win98, Start Computer with Windows 98 MENUITEM=win31, Start Computer with Windows 3.1 MENUCOLOR=7,0 Autoexec.bat: Ne progs/commands u need to put in here goes here %goto%config :win98 c:\"ur windows98 directory"\win.com goto end :win31 d:\"ur win3.11 directory"\win.com goto end :end Note u probably wont b able to use winxp/2k/2k3 with this configuration. Also u will need a copy of dos 6.22 as win3.1 wont run on win9x/me dos

It could be that because the scsi card is so old, win2k3 doesn't support it, some ISA cards cause problems with winxp/2k3, i had an old isa sound card and it kept making wi2k3 and xp freeze all the time, I would suggest replacing the card with a PCI scsi card
