  1. SuperStop SuperStop stops background requests and animations even when the Stop button is disabled. SuperStop is very simple: it adds a Shift+Esc shortcut (configurable) and a toolbar button that stop active WebSocket connections, JS timers, XMLHttpRequests, and any animated images and videos, regardless of the state of the Stop button. This extension I recommend for all users of Mypal 68 whose computer is low on system resources. A click onto the toolbar button, for example, stops immediately the animation of all loaded GIF images without reloading the page, and the CPU load is back to normal subsequently. Absolutely great! Tested version: 0.6 Download link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/superstop/
  2. Your post is off-topic! You have to post with regard to the topic. Please post your problem in my already mentioned thread: https://msfn.org/board/topic/183352-proxhttpsproxy-and-httpsproxy-in-windows-xp-for-future-use/ There, I'll answer your questions associated with ProxHTTPSProxy. And BTW, all my provided files are clean, of course. Anyway, you are a newbie, therefore, you should read the forum rules first: https://msfn.org/board/guidelines/ Regards, AstroSkipper
  3. Hi @visionhelp, with my release ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu 3V1, it is totally easy to use a TLS 1.2 proxy system-widely. I integrated an extra menu item in its systray's PopMenu to activate the most recent version ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e system-widely. Here is the link to my release: And here is my article "ProxHTTPSProxy and HTTPSProxy in Windows XP for future use" about ProxHTTPSProxy containing all information what it is for, and how to install, configure, use, and maintain this proxy which you should read first: If you have further questions associated with ProxHTTPSProxy, after reading my article, you can post it in my mentioned thread. Here, in this thread, I won't reply, its about enabling TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 only. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  4. And additionally, a screenshot of the Cloudflare certificate details: No problems with the certificate. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  5. Mypal 68 shows a green, secure connection to Cloudflare. I opened the certificate details, and all is well. Here are two screenshots: Cheers, AstroSkipper
  6. And a further tool associated with this AVG version is the AVG Clear 18.8.4084.0 to get rid of all installed components if necessary. Download link: https://install.avcdn.net/avg/iavs9x-xp/avgclear.exe Cheers, AstroSkipper
  7. Sorry, but I am busy too. You are not the only one. My second name is astroskipperautravail. But kidding aside, please @genieautravail, do not post in my threads any questions or requests if you don't want to have an answer or a solution! In such a case, you are about to waste my time. And my time is just as valuable as yours. And BTW, my question about politeness was answered by yourself with your bold reply. Thanks for that! Cheers, AstroSkipper
  8. FireShot: Full Web Page Screenshots With FireShot you can capture either whole page or just a selection. Screenshots are quickly captured and can be saved as an image in form of a pdf or an image file. Some features are available in the Pro version only, but generally, it is a free tool. Tested version: 1.10.5.1 Download link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fireshot/
  9. @genieautravail, may I kindly ask if you consider it a form of politeness neither to reply to previously posted answers or solutions nor to react? I could see you visited this forum since your request in this thread, but I can't see a reply or a reaction here. And truth to be told, it's not the first time, unfortunately. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  10. @tpao12 AFAIK, the file winlogon.exe checks the integrity of ediskeer.dll. Using Google search engine, you can read everywhere that nobody has figured out (or published) any methods for patching ediskeer.dll on disk. Any changes in the file ediskeer.dll leads to the unsupported state error message. Generally, I wonder if there is any need of Windows XP Starter Edition in these days. The Starter Edition is just a stripped down version of Windows XP Home Edition which does not have such an integrity check. The user can transform the Starter Edition into a Home Edition by replacing some system files. That's what I know and read on Google results. Or a complete, fresh installation of the Home or Professional Edition. Anyway, that's what I would do if I were you. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  11. Undo Close Tab Allows you to restore the tab you just closed with a single click. Additionally, it can offer a list of recently closed tabs within a convenient context menu. It's a missing button in Mypal 68, and I use it to restore quickly closed tabs. Tested version:7.5.0 Download link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/undoclosetabbutton/
  12. Hi @roytam1! Sorry for the inconveniences! I thought the site were lost in the old browsers forever. Fortunately, it is back now. Sorry again for my panic! This site is quite important for me. Thanks and kindest regards, AstroSkipper
  13. Thank you very much for the quickest reply ever! At that moment you posted your reply, the site was working again in New Moon 28. So it seems to have been a temporary problem. Thanks again! You brought me luck.
  14. Can you please check the site https://postimages.org/ on Serpent 52 again? For me, it definitely stops working. Thanks in advance!
  15. Sorry, but I can't confirm your observation. I use uBlock Origin too, but this makes no difference. I deleted all cookies in New Moon 68 (the latest build), and therefore I am unregistered too. Please delete your browser cache and try again! I think this site stops working in old browsers. Read the post above! I already reported it to @roytam1. Anyway, thanks for your quick reply! Cheers, AstroSkipper
  16. Hi, @roytam1 can you please check the site https://postimages.org/ in your browsers? In the morning, no problems, but now, all of your browser editions stop rendering this site properly, and the website is now useless. No upload of images is possible, and already uploaded images can't be viewed anymore. I tried New Moon 28, Iceape-UXP, K-Meleon 76.4.6-Goanna, Serpent 52. Furthermore, same issues in Firefox 52.9.0esr, 360Crome v11 and 360Crome v13. None of them is able to load this site as usual. Only in Mypal 68, this site works as it always does. Kindest regards, AstroSkipper
  17. Thanks, @mina7601, that's what I meant. New Moon is able to load it, but totally useless. The rendering doesn't work since this morning. It's my main image hoster, and therefore I am more than shocked. The admins of this site must have changed code. In Mypal 68 or Opera mobile (Android), no issues.
  18. Thanks for your reply! But first, I need a confirmation whether the site https://postimages.org/ works in roytam1's browsers or not. Maybe, it's only me having this problem.
  19. Can anyone confirm that the website https://postimages.org/ doesn't work anymore? In the morning. no problems, but now, all roytam1's browser editions stop loading this site properly. I tried New Moon 28, Iceape-UXP, K-Meleon 76.4.6-Goanna, Serpent 52, and last but not least, Firefox 52.9.0esr. None of them could load this site as usual. In Mypal 68, this site works as it should be. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  20. With regards to your hardware resources, I urgently recommend using uBlock Origin in combination with eMatrix. As already mentioned, your grocery online shop is full of ads and they will additionally slow down your browsing experience beside the tons of scripts and images. Generally, an ad blocker is the first extension when I configure a new browser, and uBlock Origin is the best choice in New Moon or Pale Moon. eMatrix provides an menu/navigation bar icon with a matrix for setting up each websites to the user's needs. Unlike NoScript, much more can be adjusted, and eMatrix loads additional filter lists. Viewing the matrix, you definitely know which sites are blocked and which are allowed. Here are the links to the most recent versions: uBlock Origin: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock-for-firefox-legacy/releases/download/firefox-legacy-1.16.4.30/uBlock0_1.16.4.30.firefox-legacy.xpi eMatrix: https://addons.palemoon.org/?component=download&id=eMatrix@vannilla.org&version=5.0.2 And here is a wiki for uMatrix/eMatrix: https://github.com/gorhill/httpswitchboard/wiki eMatrix is a fork of uMatrix for old legacy browsers like New Moon. The further development of uMatrix for legacy browsers was abandoned. uBlock Origin is a mighty instrument and actually much more than an ad blocker. You can use it in an advanced mode, but not recommanded for a first-time user. Truth be told, do not expect miracles on those crappy, cumbersome websites! Kind regards, AstroSkipper. PS: When installing eMatrix, you have to deactivate or uninstall NoScript first. You should backup your settings in NoScript first if you want to restore this extension eventually which I do not recommend.
  21. Thanks for both hints! I changed my post in this thread, a bit. Now they are not identical, right? And first, I'll try to post my call in this forum only. Unfortunately, there isn't much hope, though. Kindest regards, AstroSkipper
  22. Thanks for the hint! I only knew Moon Tester Tool but Serpent Tester Tool, I didn't have on my radar yet. Thanks again! Cheers, AstroSkipper
  23. Looking for a person with Python programming skills to implement TLS 1.3 functionality in ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e! We need a person with Python programming skills to implement TLS 1.3 and its ciphers to the latest version REV3e of ProxHTTPSProxy. Three ciphers associated with TLS 1.3 have to be added to the existing package of REV3e. Its OpenSSL version 1.1.1d already supports TLS 1.3. To assess whether such a project can be realized, the source code can be viewed first, of course. This is the download link of ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e's source code: https://www.mediafire.com/file/s9027bdxffodbna/cryptography-2.8-py3.4_openssl-1.1.1d.rar/file All information about ProxHTTPSProxy can be found in the first post of my thread: Any ideas or suggestions are welcome! If there is such a person, I'll be pleased to get your opinion whether such a project is possible or not. I personally cannot estimate the scope and the effort required for such a project, since I unfortunately do not have any knowledge in the Python programming language. That's the reason for this call. The goal is to get a proxy with the most recent protocol and its ciphers in Windows XP and to future-proof this OS. Thanks in advance! Kind regards, AstroSkipper
  24. To make sure that as many as possible can read this call, I will create a separate thread for it. Cheers, AstroSkipper
