  1. If using Mypal 29 or any other old browser you have to access VirusTotal from now on by this special link: https://www.virustotal.com/old-browsers/ This is a minimal interface for browsers that do not support full-fledged VirusTotal. The interface of Virustotal has apparently changed the last days as many other sites too. I hate that. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  2. Maybe this is what you are looking for: Virus Total Scanner. It's a desktop tool which uses Virustotal as a scan engine and displays its results. Windows XP is still supported. Here is a link: https://securityxploded.com/virus-total-scanner.php Cheers, AstroSkipper
  3. Virustotal is an online service, nowadays called a web app. I used this service in combination with an upload tool in the past. It is called Virustotal Uploader 2.2. Another tool is Winja 7.1. Anyway, you need a browser to display the scan results. Which browser doesn't support Virustotal anymore?
  4. That's no thing! Unpack 360Chrome v13 archive, delete folder User Data and copy your folder User Data from 360Chrome v13.5 to new location. Your old installation won't be touched by doing this. Therefore no risk! You can only win!
  5. Maybe you get another interesting Chinese installer!
  6. Your 360Chrome editions are definitely great. Unfortunately v13 and higher are problematic in my system. Version v11 works very well, but some more recent sites are not working properly. The main problem is that those sites are crap. As I already mentioned I try to avoid them. The good is we have different browser and the possibility to selectively use them regarding to our needs in Windows XP. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  7. Hi @kuja killer, I can confirm that twitter.com and www.deepl.com only works using 360Chrome v13 and higher in Windows XP. All these sites are crap and cumbersome. If you need to access them, use Windows 7 and most recent browsers. I try to avoid these sites. They are badly constructed and sluggish while loading. The good thing is my computer is very old and low on hardware resources, therfore I can identify bad sites very well. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  8. And by the way we should not forget that Mypal 68 is still in an early stage of development.
  9. I can confirm that. In New Moon 28 devianart.com is working too. So you can report this site to @feodor2 in the issues: https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal68/issues Cheers, AstroSkipper
  10. Hi @NotHereToPlayGames, I already recommended 360Chrome too. So keep cool and don't be sad! And by the way one example does not mean anything! A lot of modern sites do work in Mypal 68. But in 360Chrome too, of course! I don't use 360Chrome v13 or higher, only v11 due to my hardware limitations. The versions v13 and higher are resource hogs. So, no way for me. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  11. Try Mypal 68! It's really great and works well with modern sites which don't load in old browsers. Did you try New Moon 28 or Serpent 52? Maybe they are enough for you. But it depends on your OS and your hardware conditions too. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  12. If I had one wish and it was possible, I would desire support of XUL based extensions in Mypal 68. Then we could install add-ons from both worlds. Truth be told, I miss a lot of my old beloved extensions and in many cases there is no reasonable substitute among web extensions. In the past I created some custom buttons using Javascript, but no chance to get them work in more recent Firefox versions or in Mypal 68. But as I already said it's just a wish which will probably never come true. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  13. Hi @kuja killer, first of all ProxHTTPSProxy and HTTPSProxy are not my programs. The creators are @heinoganda and @Thomas S., two members of MSFN who haven't been here for a long time. All information about these proxies you can find in my article "ProxHTTPSProxy and HTTPSProxy in Windows XP for future use" here: In this article a lot of your questions will be answered. You can use these proxies with any browsers, but that doesn't always make sense. Both proxies provide TLS 1.2 protocol where it is missing, for example in IE8. Read first post and you will understand! By the way my project is ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu 3V1 which is described in this post: The goal of this thread is to ensure that these proxies will do their job in the future. That's the reason why I maintain them. Regarding to your problems you have to use more recent browsers like Mypal 68 or one of the 360Chrome editions. You can't solve your problem using one of these proxies. But as already mentioned read my article and a lot of your questions will be answered! Cheers, AstroSkipper
  14. And one additional tip. For better overview delete all unnecessary entries in config.ini! Keep only entries of sites you really use! @heinoganda added a lot of sites, maybe to his needs. The config.ini of HTTPSProxy is nearly empty comparing to ProxHTTPSProxy's one. Cheers ,AstroSkipper
  15. Problem solved. Config.ini has to be modified. In section [SSL Pass-Thru] you have to deactivate *gov.uk* by setting # in front of the string or delete *gov.uk* completely.
  16. Ok, I think I've found the problem. It's a certificate problem. HTTPSProxy created a certificate for this site, but ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e didn't. You have to modify config.ini of ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e. Check the folder certs and you'll see, there is no certificate for image.email.tfl.gov.uk.
  17. AFAIK @RainyShadow uses ProxHTTPSProxyMII v1.5, but an older version. You and me, we use ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e and we have the same problem. The older HTTPSProxy doesn't have any problems like @RainyShadow's old release. I think it's a cipher problem. Check the used cipher on image.email.tfl.gov.uk and compare it to the ciphers of both proxies.
  18. Using ProxHTTPSProxy IE8 fails to show this image. Using HTTPSProxy IE8 has no problem with that image. Maybe a cipher problem. You can compare used cipher on https://browserleaks.com/ssl
  19. Agreed! That really and truly is the only end possible with an ecosystem that revolves around "nightly" and "weekly" updates. You cannot properly and adequately "test" software with that release schedule. Your user-base does the "testing" for you. Oten resulting in bugs from six months ago being buried very deep because it took six months for the user-base to find it versus the "coder" that is SUPPOSED TO HAVE BETTER KNOWLEDGE of the "code" but the "coder" didn't have the TIME to "test". Agreed totally too! Nowadays the user is demoted to be a beta tester. That's one of the reasons I prefer @feodor2's release schedule. The new version of Mypal 68 (68.12.3) seems to have been tested more deeply than browsers with a one week release schedule. Of course, a one month interval for developing and testing doesn't mean all bugs have been eliminated or all missing features have been added , but for me the new release of Mypal 68 seems to be very matured. Anyway, I am very happy about the progress of development. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  20. The new release is great. Try it! After a lot of testing I am really impressed. Full add-on support! I love it!
  21. It's not a secret and you are always welcome here, of course. I only asked for a SSE release of discontinued Mypal for my old AthlonXP. The link couldn't be shared officially. So nothing happened! All is good!
  22. Thanks a lot! In the past I didn't realize that there were other builds of Mypal. Was it buried in the issues too? In the official folder definitely not. Anyway, thanks!
