  1. It appears you're right. This PC is running Windows XP SP3.
  2. dyhdd, This is an English-speaking forum. Please, use a translation tool. Este es un foro de habla Inglés. Por favor, utilice una herramienta de traducción. Welcome to MSFN (Bienvenido a MSFN)
  3. Use winnt.sif after nLite is done: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/archive/index.php/t-18581.html http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/19/
  4. http://blogs.technet...-or-hotfix.aspx http://answers.micro...ac-78e7d160ad4e That's about it. Looks like the restore was unsuccessful. Any chance it might be corrupted?
  5. Updated to latest version 28/11/2012 Rev.4494 by clsid
  6. Welcome to MSFN. Fernando, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that regardless of which you choose, both will be copied and the appropriate will be used if they are in the same folder. Please, wait for confirmation for this. No. You have to choose one of the two in textmode (TXT). Otherwise they will be integrated in PnP and you will get the notorious 0x7B error during setup when your HDD is not recognized. Cheers
  7. Here's something from search to begin with NERO http://www.msfn.org/...098#entry698098 http://www.msfn.org/...__1#entry894064 AVG
  8. The K-Lite Codec Pack offers thumbnail integration for MKV and other video file types.
  9. http://xdot.tk/nliteimages.html pic #20 add the line regedit %source%files\MyRegFile.reg /S presuming you have a folder "Files" in the root of your install CD/DVD and the REG file is inside it. This will import registry entries. Cheers
  10. Try the WinToolkit, especially after it releases v.1.5. Again, it will require an install.wim.
  11. Welcome to MSFN. If you have used nLite, then the configuration is created/saved in Last Session.ini and Last Session_u.ini, which are found in the root of the CD, so you don't have to go through too much trouble. Otherwise, removing one thing and adding another to an already modified installation sounds like too much pain for something which is likely not to work. At least that's my opinion. Cheers
  12. Welcome to MSFN. Did you manage to see the Sticky topics (labeled with green), such as this one Do some reading, try it, and if something doesn't work, come back with a question. Cheers
  13. The line is as simple as can be and it seems fine. Are you trying to install it unattended from a CD? Does this command correctly start gom.exe or the executable can't be found and there is an error? Please, provide some details. Cheers
  14. I just tried version 2.1.43.5119 and it worked with /S on a live system. Make sure you have a capital S in the switch or post your command, so we can see it. Cheers
  15. The site itself offers drivers by Intel and Marvel for XP x64. Can you confirm the producer of the SATA controller is Intel? Cheers
  16. Tested and working on a VM a few days ago. Is anyone aware of other switches that further customize the setup, for example choosing which shields (not) to install? Cheers
  17. Is there anything wrong with the download links? I tried downloading these two http://w2k.flxsrv.org/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?file=dx_Jun2010_w2kex.exe and http://w2k.flxsrv.org/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?file=Windows2000-KB979683-v11b-x86-ENU.exe but all I got is "Problem loading page". If necessary, I can provide alternative download links. Cheers
  18. Yes, it does. If you choose Windows 7 64-bit and go page 2, you will find the Intel Matrix Storage Manager Cheers
  19. KernelEx http://sourceforge.net/projects/kernelex/ can get you up to Firefox 8. As to the modem, have you checked it is installed and enabled? Have you taken any other steps? Aslo, some reading through this sub-forum will get you a long way; check out the Unofficial SP for Windows 98 SE. Cheers
  20. Welcome to MSFN. It would really help if you provide more info on the model of the ASUS laptop or list the hardware available. I'm sure Windows 2000 will read 3GB RAM, which is MORE than enough. Cheers Edit: you can also try nLite with DriverPacks, since they support Windows 2000.
  21. You could also try the one on your site in Compatibility Mode, as nitroshift suggested. Edit: I opened the driver package from the AsRock website and found (in CMICHX.INF) it supports ICH2, ICH4, ICH5 and ICH6. AFAIK, Intel's 865 chipset should stack with ICH5. One more thing, I read on some forum (I think it was Dell) you need to install chipset drivers first, so it's good to have that in mind Cheers
  22. Again, what is the Hardware ID? You would be happy to know there a still quite a few places to find a driver in
  23. Updated to latest version 25/10/2012 Rev.4489 by clsid
  24. Is it not this one? http://support.amd.c...onaiw_xp.aspx#1 I checked the ID, it's PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68C1&SUBSYS_5000174B. The SUBSYS isn't the same, but I think that won't be a problem. It is highly unlikely, but it's worth a shot.
