  1. Downloading the necessary files as shown in -X-'s list http://xdot.tk/updates.html also prevents reappearance in Windows Update.
  2. OK, you need to download this http://downloadcente...oadType=Drivers which is the Video driver for HD 2500, 3000 and 4000. However, inside there is a folder called "ibxHDMI" which contains an INF file with these IDs %IntcDAudDeviceDesc% = IntcDAudModel, HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2805&SUBSYS_80860101, HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2805 %IntcDAudDeviceDesc% = IntcDAudModel, HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2806&SUBSYS_80860101, HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2806 which are the ones you need. The package is easy to extract with 7-Zip, WinRAR or whatever you please. Cheers and please, report back. EDIT: the answer was the other posts in this topic: nowadays they tend to put a lot of drivers in one package (video, audio, chipset, SATA) and call it a suite; ATI does it, so why not Intel?
  3. Unfortunately, those drivers won't work for you. I'm doing some digging and I might be able to help you. Until later.
  4. Are there any .cfg, .ini or .lic files in the program folder?
  5. How about a search of Windows Registry with your registration information? It's easily exportable once found. Cheers
  6. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Information_Services Paragraphs "History" and "Security" explain why updating it would be a reasonably good security fix, but in my opinion, that's about it for the common end-user. Cheers
  7. How much is IIS and its available tools really used outside of a domain / working environment?
  8. I'm afraid this isn't the one. Please try to upload the one named exactly "Last Session.ini", with no dates in brackets. Cheers
  9. If it is a SATA/RAID/AHCI driver, then select textmode. For all other drivers, select PnP.
  10. What you could do is download one of the thousands free ISO makers, try to create an ISO of the XP CD and that way it will always be on your PC and you will be able to use it as a starting point. According to your last post, the CD may be damaged. Cheers
  11. Extract the files and run start /wait dxsetup.exe /SILENT Cheers
  12. No, this is not correct. Also, when using nLite it is normally required to attach the Last Session.ini file, which you can find in C:\Program Files\nLite\Presets or in the root of your nLited XP folder. I suspect you may have used the Desktop as a working folder, so other things could have been added along with what was necessary. Let's start from there. Cheers
  13. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc709665%28v=ws.10%29.aspx which comes from here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd799278%28WS.10%29.aspx Suitable for all your needs (Remember, Google is also your friend; add site:msfn to your searches and you'll be running in no time) Cheers
  14. Firefox does not save information about the home page in the registry. A quick search through regedit will tell you that. It rather keeps this information in each user profile.
  15. I'm not really sure how legal this "Last XP" is. If you are just looking for boot screens, go here http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/42-logonui-boot-screens/
  16. Updated to latest version 13/12/2012 Rev.4496 by clsid
  17. Vista strikes again! (Andre will like this ;-))
  18. Well documented in several posts here http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/153-vlite/ Welcome to MSFN
  19. This is not true. You CAN integrate the 32-bit driver in Windows XP 32-bit. Get the driver you posted in your post. Cheers
  20. Well, isn't it a surprise p6000 desktops only have drivers for Vista and 7 For use with nLite, but it will do the trick (post #2) Cheers
  21. I'm afraid you can't just remove it. It will probably come back after restart from the dll cache. fdv's approach that jaclaz mentioned of removing ie, but not removing the ie core (needed for other things) is probably the best. http://www.vorck.com/windows/
  22. Welcome to MSFN. Have you tried using nLite on it? If so, has it shown you which folders were safe to remove/delete? The only thing I can say by looking at the size of I386 (about the same size as an installed XP on a live system) is that it may probably be tricky. Also, the PRELOAD folder seems rather big and is probably important. Can you make a screenshot of the folder structure inside I386 and PRELOAD? Cheers
