  1. You can take care about your RAM later, first you need to set all other components besides the CPU at a "slow" configuration.
  2. Right... http://www.siliconimage.com/support/suppor...amp;osid=8& And your chipset isn’t VIA, it’s a nVidia nForce2 .
  3. Those VIA drivers should come in Vista. If you like to upgrade your driver then don’t blame VIA for not having drivers, you should look better . 27 November 2007 isn’t what I say "2003" and you can find them here. Moving this to the Vista section...
  4. Set the first field that’s now on "AUTO" to 100 or 133, that should give you the possibility to OC a LOT more .
  5. Can you set your RAM speed to 100 or 133MHz? ´m sure you have a problem there when you are over clocking (now at 350MHz DDR).
  6. Aggressive timing set on “disabled” HT frequency on “3x” Extra CPU Voltage “disabled” What RAM do you have any way? DDR PC2700 or PC3200?
  7. Or Opera . Toolbars=CRAP!... period... Worst thing, this crap is included now in lots of drivers and programs. Yesterday I installed my new mouse and it’s asking if I want to install YaHoo toolbar with it, like I need it with my Logitech mouse…
  8. Well, don´t forget there will be new Penryn cored mobile CPUs in 1 month from now... X9000 2.8 GHz 44W 6MB $851 T9500 2.6 GHz 35W 6MB $530 T9300 2.5 GHz 35W 6MB $316 T8300 2.4 GHz 35W 3MB $241 T8100 2.1 GHz 35W 3MB $209
  9. I´m sure you don´t when you have to pay the bill .How hot does that laptop get any way? Big laptop and heavy!
  10. The Celeron2 700MHz will be faster then the PIII 533MHz Altrough the FSB of the PIII is double that of the Celeron2.
  11. Hmmm, I saw the posts and the hacked 85.96 drivers and some 7 series from nVidia. Would be cool to see some 16x.xx drivers and 8 series working in SLI on an x38 system...
  12. I think we talked about this before. Did you find some hard proof of that? Remember that I told you IF it was true, people would have done it there selves a lot more then just the site you are referring too, and other sites referring to that site... if you know what a mean .
  13. Must have been a thing with addresses or something of the video cards, I have to look it up too...
  14. Jhorton, stop using report button, it’s only for "bad things". Jhorton, no usas la opción "repport", eso solo es para avisar algo de “malo”.
  15. Download these drivers for your OS and install them: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Fi...x?ProductID=816 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Fi...x?ProductID=663 Let´s see if that helps . These are the latest VGA drivers by the way: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Fi...x?ProductID=865
  16. That was in 1999? I don´t see where you got this from...
  17. I know, but a DX10 card will help . The only thing you can do is what I told you in my other post, just tweak it...
  18. Both, It’s hard to find the Manufacturer of that module; well at least I could not find it. If you want to upgrade or so, then buy a Kingston value RAM or ADATA(VDATA) 1GB 533MHz DDR PC-4200 module, just the cheapest versions.
  19. I think you misunderstood that part, I’m sure they were talking about prime95 or so to test your OC. Just post here, Intel CPUs are easy to OC. What motherboard are you looking for, did you make any decisions? May I suggest the one I posted before in this topic (yes, the Gigabyte motherboard ).By the way, if you want to OC, get a better cooler then the stock cooler…
  20. Tweak that card a bit, and if possible unlock some shaders. I´m using a 7200GS and it’s almost the same as the 7300LE only the 7300LE has 64bit for the memory and mine just, you won’t believe it, 32bit! Use Riva tuner to OC your core and memory setting, unlock those shaders and you could get some more decimals behind that period (don’t expect much but a +0.1/0.3 could be possible ). Why are you worried about that score any way? To get a higher score you will need a directX 10 card…
  21. Bring it on!
  22. you computer is probably underclocking itself to save power and reduce heat if you are not doing anything intensive; your cpu "core speed" is probably also at 50%. No no guys, it’s showing correct there; its 266MHz Double Data Rate, so 2*266=533MHz .When you want to see the type of RAM you are using, click on the SPD tab, or better, give us a screenshot from that view. The one that has been posted is (almost) useless...
  23. No no, it’s not that sure you have to use the latest driver, don’t get me wrong here bluescreens, but something else could be messed up besides the driver. BombaTwist, Try the drivers without the ATI control centre installed. Also, the ATI control centre relies on .NET, so reinstalling .NET 1.1 and 2.0 could fix the problem too.
  24. ... You can’t test stability of your system and EIST when it’s always on full speed... test it in real-life computer usage, e.g. let the Pc do "nothing" then start to use it, stop and start again, and so on...
