  1. The first GeForce cards are 3.3v and are AGP 4x
  2. Some sound chips can be redirected with I/O but most of them can’t. You have to check your sound chip and also I don’t know if your PCB will allow you to do that. So, at this moment it´s hard to reply on your question; some information from your side would be welcome.
  3. Yes they do... Even is you have a 266MHz DDR chip it still can work higher then that, there is a margin. How much the margin is we can’t tell, you have to test that your self. Old 266MHz chips will most likely not OC as far as a new 266MHz chips. To over clock a older DIMM just try to rise the clock speed first, later look if you can rise the voltage from e.g. 2.5 to 2.7 for example, that can help too. Last, go for heat spreaders with frag-tape or some thing if overclocking is succes full. You just have to experiment, only bad cooling and rising the voltage can damage the DIMM (other changes will not do much damage but it’s on your own risk).
  4. "...Will this cause damage to the PC ?" Yes it will after some time, replace it as fast as possible. You already have altered the life of you motherboard . Buy any AGP 8x card and you will be safe.
  5. Heheheh, RIGHT! Listen, the ISPs from Holland are at the same level then the ISPs in the USA. (I’m sure about it, I’m Dutch too and like the speeds of @home (a Dutch ISP). My bro lives in California and I got stuck in Mexico with a slow 600/128kbps line (Time for dual WAN ).
  6. 10 bucks LOL. Go now for a nice one, for example this: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-127-013&depa=0
  7. Yes, that´s right, could be that you have to set the protocol by hand, but most routers do it automatic if you select the type of connection (else you also would not get user name and password) . What I´m thinking of is that the router isn´t compatible or so with your ISP, I saw it more times (small chance but still).
  8. I think it´s nice, but **** expensive. Tell us why you want water cooling for a price of 400 US$?
  9. Some xDSL connections ask for a password and a server name, it could be that you have to set them in the router. (other way is that your ISP indeed gives you an IP number)
  10. And router type (and if it´s included with a modem)?
  11. What kind of internet connection do you have?
  12. I use both, ATi and nVidia. The best cards I use are overclocked and unlocked 6800LE cards, they are the best for the price (AGP) and the 6600GT (AGP) is coming close behind the 6800LE .
  13. Try an other DIMM first .
  14. Hmmm, that one is twice the price. It´s more like a 300-350 US$ kit, then I would choose my own parts and build a watercooling system my self. Ow, found a nice review: http://www.guru3d.com/article/h2o/190/1/ B)
  15. Kingston "normal" and Kingston HyperX could indeed not be detected well, do you know why? It´s bc they have a diferent voltage settings. I use for example ABIT nForce2 motherboard and get Kingston "normal" and Transcend 200MHz DIMMs working fine in dual mode .
  16. Best thing you could do is to buy an other 256MB DIMM like you already have and sell the 128MB DIMM. If you don´t want that then use them like you are using now. Normaly it will not work on Dual DDR mode, so I´m wondering how you did that
  17. I see them for like 225 US$ in the USA. Here in Mexico they are like 450 US$ so soon I´ll be going to do some chopping in Texas (gona get my self 10 of them or so )
  18. So, the Harddisk is also making strange noises? Or it´s always doing that? Did you try to use an other DIMM?
  19. Vdimm- Voltage of the DIMM, you are right about that. It should be 2.5 to 2.7v so is there any option to set it higher in the BIOS or with jumpers or so on your motherboard?
  20. The backlight will not live a longer if you bring contrast or brightness down. Turning on and off the screen is an other story but still I would not worry about it, it will last a long time and backlights are not that expensive .
  21. The Swiftech H20-80-BB is also nice for the price, 130 bucks, not bad. But it has not the performance you will have with the Thermaltake . Nice finding though B) .

    Dv Input?

If I would buy a cam for example I would buy one with a DV-Input. Why, bc you can edit your movies with the computer and put them back on tape again .
  23. ripken204, Why did you change your posts? Any way, I see that Thermaltake USA doesn’t have them on there site, it could be that they are only sold in Europe and Asia (or that the Aquarius II is outdated and replaces with BiGWater). Gona pass you links again . EDIT: Here you go, for about 150 bucks http://www.thermaltake.com/watercooling/cl...er/cl-w0005.htm If you want more, buy separated parts, but it will be way more expensive. So, if you have a budget like 400 US$ and want your friends to pop out there eyes then buy separate parts (I still would go for the 150 US$ kit ) EDIT2: If you use Aluminium blocks then use a Aluminium radiator too; Copper blocks, copper radiator, else you will get corrosion inside your blocks and radiator. Yes, the BlackICE have nice radiators for a good price. EDIT3: About that copper and alu subject: Some antifreeze (for cars) will work but you have to ask for the ones that don´t give corrosion. I see that most kits now come with a Alu radiator and copper blocks but they use special water. But you have to ask the pro´s about it...
  24. Okay, then I stop... I sold them a lot and no one complained about them.
  25. Thermaltake has some nice kits; water and TEC-cooling... They have nice kits for a good price, easy to install and work pritty good...
