  1. Start > Run > CMD > net user password Replace user with your username and password with the desired password. Reboot and that should now take affect.
  2. So you're saying that everytime Windows loads, you're sometimes and sometimes not required to enter your login credentials for Windows? The only thing I can think of is if you or another user is toggling with the Auto Login option or the user password. If the user account has a password enabled, you should be prompted each time.
  3. You started the topic, I just offered suggestions to help you resolve your issue. Cheers.
  4. ComputerMan, Searching Does Wonders! The topic even has the exact same title.
  5. I love this application, especially since it's under 1 MB and can be portable. However, as it doesn't support DVD Video burning (or burning anything that isn't an image) I can't switch to it from Nero. Otherwise, excellent!
  6. Are you incapable of using Google? DAF Direct Download Link
  7. Maybe stop wasting time with garbage software and use a freeware that is superior like we've been saying since the get-go. Norton is trash.
  8. Do not double post a thread. Many users visit many sections of the forum. The error indicates that the theme file is corrupt or missing. It's a 3 KB file. Just ask someone to upload a copy of it here under a different file extension. Either that or the registry pointing to it has been altered. Try using Dial-A-Fix to see if you can repair it.
  9. 9th one down when Googling "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL": This page. Thanks for taking the time and effort to verify. Are you sure the new RAM is compatible with your motherboard? Can you check your Event Log for any errors relating to the problem? If there are many, clear the logs, wait for it to restart and then check the Event Viewer again. You could always make a full memory dump and ask Cluberti to analyze it for you (lol @ nmX.Memnoch). I'm willing to bet its the new RAM but it wouldn't be the first time I've been proven wrong.
  10. There's no need to use that attitude. I did not say there was. You've received your answer and that's the end of it.
  11. You're not willing nor apparently financially situated enough to purchase a card suitable for the tasks you wish to accomplish. Save more money. I'd love to have a Raptor drive for $50 but that's absolutely out of the question.
  12. Could have fooled me. Anyway, I somehow always remember there being a checkbox. Oh well. Next.

    rspndr.adm

I'd say so because "rspndr" isn't found in my Windows XP Corporate SP2 source so I assume its added by RyanVM's Pack. So yes, try asking him or his forums and then relay the response here.
  14. So click the option to open the folder and check the box that says "Remember this selection" or whatever it says.

  16. Please use Firefox or Opera.
  17. Windows Classic (slightly tweaked so that the window title bar is a solid navy blue).

I get that nowadays when installing nLited ISOs. The file doesn't exist in my source but I don't know about afterwards. I just integrate RyanVM's Update Pack.
  19. I never use software that comes with Printers. I just install the drivers and use the built-in functionality XP has.
  20. That's probably the problem right there.
  21. Well, given the examples set by some people out there, you can never be too sure. The easiest way would be to do a repair install which would copy over those images again. I'm not familiar with those particular images so I'm unable to provide you with specific filenames.
  22. The images are missing. You got delete-happy I'm assuming and cleaned out many seemingly unimportant small images, which isn't really a critical problem. You can still use the functionality, or even learn to do those tasks via command-line and avoid the interface entirely. Cheers.
  23. Test the RAM with MemTest to make sure it's not faulty.
  24. Spidercop, please do your best to use sentences in the future. If you're missing deskpan.dll then extract it from your XP Install CD. Start > Run > "CMD" (without quotations) > X (representing whatever drive letter your CD/DVD-ROM Drive and Local Disk are) "expand X:\I386\deskpan.dl_ X:\WINDOWS\system32\deskpan.dll" Please be aware that there is a space between .dl_ and X in that command.
  25. The first thing I'd suggest you do is reformat that poor HDD of yours. There is a lot of bloatware installed and on top of that just too many things installed that can be replaced by much better software. For example, why do you have so many Canon thing installed when you also have Picasa (which detects USB connected digital cameras and automatically transfers the images, creates a library of them and categorizes them for you? I see Symantec there. Replace that with freeware Avast. That's only the tip of the iceberg.
