Access Denied

Just got some on there and its already got me down to low 50's while converting/editing video. Nice, especially since it says that I'll drop another 2-5 C after a week or so.

I say if your legit, then its legit. Simple enough.

The repair is the only way in my opinion, unless it uses the same driver files or is "supported" by the OS and even then, you may still have to repair install it. I have used 4 diff RAID controllers and know the steps by heart, lol. Hope that helps.

There is no + and - in the file names that I can find.

I do, but not for me, lol. I only do it for a "friend" that is in school. Very rarely I might add. I used to run a patched version of XP back in the day until I could afford it(couple months). Fully legit on here now and has been for some time.

I should mention that when the name/serial/activation appears during install....hold your horses...just wait a few and it will disappear. Atleast it did on my install. Hope that helps someone.

Install R4 from first page on Vista Business, only disabled UAC and the way windows notifies me about it. All else is clean install settings. I did have Nero 7 Premium on here but I removed that, rebooted and installed the R4. No problem installing or using. Great job on the Lite version.

I have the upgrade version of Business, but I clean installed it. I actually just backed up and used the full/then upgrade to install it clean to my freshly formatted disk. No way I would do an actual upgrade, no matter how good XP was running.(which it was, lol) Hope that helps some.

Owned 4 so far, all ASUS, thinking about going Gigabyte this next round when I upgrade with a Core 2 Duo new system.

I could care less about them, after the masses failing, that I have tossed using for F6 disks over the last 5 years. I use nLite or will use vLite if my next motherboard is not supported like this current one. I have a USB floppy drive, in a drawer/box collecting dust, for good reason, lol.

I don't see the Advanced Part nor the outbound rules. Its not in my control panel (Business Version), just a regular Windows Firewall with an exceptions list.

I am running Business Vista and it installed/runs great here. HTH.

I thought Vista was supposed to have a 2 way firewall. I cannot find the way to enable the outgoing part of it in Vista Business.

Whether you can boot from that I believe is up to your motherboard/BIOS setup, if its possible. Mine can see the external and gives a boot error when I try to do it but that is because there is no OS on it. It will be extremely slow in my opinion if you do boot from the external(the OS will run slower). Hope that helps.

My TV Tuner has an audio out plug and a short audio cable that goes from there to my sound card's input. Not sure if yours needs that though, as mine is few years old. Hope it helps all the same.

I used to format alot. Atleast twice a month or more for a while, just because things didn't seem right on an install, lol.

I did uninstall it, but it didn't restore the old dll files the SFC is complaining about.
