Access Denied

I know this thread is pretty old, but I could not find a more relevant one to post this problem. I have installed the Pack according to instructions and had no problems. I have since decided to remove it and replace all the files with the originals using SFC /SCANNOW........but it says to insert the XP SP2 CD to fix the files and its actually in the drive. I have tried 3 XP SP2 cd's so far(all legit versions, btw), with the same problem duplicated on each CD. It may be easier to direct me to a link to the files as I can fix this easily if I have them. I am very computer literate. A little help, please?

You will need some kind of extractor to get the icon from the shell32.dll file. I have never done this, but surely someone will be able to tell ya how to do it.

I believe the FSB is on the cpu with the new AMD chips. That is what I have been told by a very reliable source. That would make it much faster than the FSB on the mobo that you probably now use.

Are they on the same partition?

Here is the contents of a file I have called driveicons.reg that I use to change mine with. Copy and paste this into a text file, but rename it with *.reg extension (txt is default). Make the necessary letter changes to match your pc. Also note in the bottom part, the path uses \\ instead of \ like normal. Change the path to match your icons location for each drive letter. Save the new reg file incase you ever need it again. Either right click/choose "merge" or double click the reg file and click Yes. Enjoy! I get that when I try to boot from any XP or XP SP2 cd with one of my pci cards installed. Its an Adaptec 1205 SATA controller card. I don't know what causes the error, but removing the pci card, allows teh cd to boot properly.

Install IIS and run an FTP server on an unusal port #. Make a user with the same name and password as the one your gonna be accessing it with. Make sure to set permissions according.

I can't argue at all. I didn't read that part. My ftp is on a Winblows box.

Add a Network Place (from Network Places). I use it alot for my personal ftp.

Can you use these 3ware 7000/8000 that 3ware says is WHQL? I cannot get any XP cd to see my 8006-2LP RAID controller without a floppy. I have tried several ways now.

I just got me a new Netgear Gigabit Switch today for my domain. Had a 3com onboard on my double RAID 0 baby here and that nasty ol Netgear GA311 in the server. Thanks for the work on the drivers. I really appreciate your making my domain 1.0Gbps.

I have installed my Office 2003 Pro on this 2003 Server using the CD exe like I did in XP and everything works just fine.
