Are you talking about beta 2.0 or final .NET Framework 2.0 which was released lately. Yes I too have found some backward compatibilities problems with .Net 2, like Wincolor would still search and download net framework 1.1 even if you have installed ver 2.0 Strange! Certainly there exist some problems of each program loving only a particular ver of dotnet framework.

I have got this file findtarget.dll which I downloaded from some very good coding site, (I don't remember which). I use the ua cd to register it in my sytem32 folder using regsvr32.exe /s "%WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\FINDTARGET.DLL" It gives me what you all are looking for, working in Winxp Pro. If you need it, I am not sure if I can post it, I will send it (small size 6.36kb)

@war59312 Got the same prob as yours. Resolved! Disconnected the RAID volume with two SATAs and installed on a parallel HD. No issues at all. But when installed with connected SATA RAID, installation failed miserably!

@phoenix_nf Are you using the tuner with correct drivers? most often the problem arises with the audio drivers and there can be the wdm drivers to be used specifically for it. Have you tried using dscaler? The program can give you greater flexibility as regards to the hardware and softwre options both? Which is make you are using?

OpenOffice is greatly improving every year. Though like all the softwares it is not completely fully developed. But, no doubt, it offers many features which are simply worth installing it. Like its ability to create pdf files, another feature that I like is same as autocomplete feature, this one really helps in new files and it keeps on giving you the option to autocomplete long words and it really makes typing really great! But it really falters on opening MSWord created large files, xls files are still having issues, and its conversion of doc to pocket word format is still buggy. But, for a free cost, it simply is a great program.

@Dumpy Dooby : Great utility! Can this utility be used to hide desktop icons completely (of course, this can be possible only if you have written this very thingy yourself)? If so please do help me as I need an utility like this to toggle my desktop icons using keyboard shortcut.

I can only suggest Httrack, because of the many that I have tried this one is really good and free too! @indianarchie It can run without installation, can give your pages saved which you can view in your browser.

I searched and found a reference at http://www.mcse.ms/message1739106.html but still I am unable to get the thing working. So maybe a little modification in this script or a script of autoit can do it. But I am bad at computer languages. I shall keep trying! Thanks anyway!

Your worries can be answered partially by using an AutoIt programme. You can create an executable with all the options included like yes/no/next etc. This file you can run through a bat command. Try it

@interminded Try to use this program XPinfo for knowing the exact status of your windows activation and to see what all possiblilities you have exhausted. You can also use volid programme to restore the vol id of your hd and keep your score well within the limit to avoid reactivation. B)
