No Sound While using TV Tuner

Featured Replies

I have a TV Tuner - Grand USB TV Tuner. I do not get any sound on my comp when connected. However the picture is crystal clear. ANy idea what the problem is. Same goes for recording stuff.

Ive already tried using DivX. However, no luck still. Any workarounds.

Did u connect the output for the sounds from the tv tuner to a sounds card?

well he said that it is usb, have you tried messing around with some settings?

No not yet messed with any settings as yet. Please suggest which ones do i play with, or do i need to get a better player.

@phoenix_nf

Are you using the tuner with correct drivers? most often the problem arises with the audio drivers and there can be the wdm drivers to be used specifically for it.

Have you tried using dscaler? The program can give you greater flexibility as regards to the hardware and softwre options both?

Which is make you are using?

Hello,

I am an absolute ignoramus re all things technological. Today I bought a Pinnacle PCTV 50e USB card/thing. I installed it and am now recieving pictures but no sound. OS is WinXP but I don't even know how to find out what the sound card is!!! I have no idea what to do to attempt to remedy this. I am in Sweden and am not able to consult my usual friendly supplier back home (UK). The laptop I'm using is called Toshiba Satellite SA50 105 but that's as much as I know. Please help me and good karma will surely follow! :)
