  1. I have downloaded twice from, http://www.idoopc.co.uk/dp/DriverPack_Tv_v1.3.7z but the file downloaded is corrupt. Anyone else facing the same problem?
  2. Has anyone tried Microsoft Acrylic, the latest beta program from MS's goodie bag? I think it is a great programme. The interface is quite unlike the microsoft's original progs. May be some more features are packed too. I just had my hands on the brushes, which really look great and uses very exclusive predefined brushes and many other nice features. It can export graphics in psd format of adobe and also in illustrator mode.
  3. I think you all read this news item on msfn frontpage. http://www.msfn.org/comments.php?shownews=13427
  4. Though I don't use much of P2Ps, but I find emule plus working much better, though it has a few less frills, no kad network. Plus gives better transfer rates (others may vary in their views)1

Thanks Xpero! Edited my sigs to cool off!!
  6. AMD 64 Desktop would certainly be one of the best choice.
  7. Yes soulin!, your point is well taken and I have no problems now. All the batch files are working well. Thanks!
  8. @Marthax, using absolute paths like %programfiles% etc. doesn't help, you really have to put in quotes after /wait.
  9. Thanks all you guys, tried soulin's and Yzöwl's methods and they work just fine and relieved I am! Thanks again
  10. Wrong post or no ideas? Anybody!!
  11. I have got this weird problem lately that I am unable to execute the batch file commands which have spaces in them. e.g. start /wait "c:\program files\Office\winword.exe" or start /wait "c:\my documents\my document with spaces.doc" In both cases either a new window is opened or the error message "cannot find c:\program" is shown! Any guess? Or may be I have screwed up some registry setting. My pc uses NTFS, RAID0, nlited Windows XP Pro.
  12. One of the nice program which none of you seem to be listing is hoekey. Windows key shortcut creator! http://apps.bcheck.net/
  13. The new version of Intel chipset drivers are out. Get them at Intel Drivers Download The zip format and the executables are not following the Setup.exe -A -S -P c:\intel type of method to unpack drivers in the described folder. Rather, as in case of zip download, there are separate folders for different oses, like xp, 2003 etc. Nlite can be used to get drivers direct from the same! Has anyone tried the new download??
  14. Yes! I have used a common card reader to boot into dos using SD card using HP's utility hpUSBUTIL.exe. Use it to make the card bootable and you can easily achieve the results. There are other many utilities for the same purpose.
  15. I personally prefer a43! http://www.shawneelink.net/~bgmiller/
  16. I am not sure about mass storage, but I am slipstreaming the same drivers using nlite drivers integration for my Asus P4c800e-dlx. But mass storage should also work!
  17. All nail enamel lovers, nail polish remover contains weak acetone solution and that will badly damage your mobo is used carelessly. It can even bite through the plastic based markings or prints on mobo etc. So better avoid it. Alcohol can be corrosive to but on the lighter side. Simply wiping the h/sink portion of cpu with wet-squeezed cloth can help. btw little traces of thermal compound don't matter as upon heating all gets even!
  18. Nice program, successfully stripstreamed and installed on Winxpsp2! Great work gnome!
  19. Good one!
  20. One more thing simply enough get the list of the files in sygate directory which are modified last and make a copy of all. These are the same very files listed in the earlier post.
  21. I have been doing it successfully for more than a year. Here is my procedure: -Install Sygate as you would -Run as many programs which access internet and make the rules -If possible try to stop the smc service or boot in another windows -Dig into the %programfiles%\sygate\spf and copy the files debug.log Default.dat Default.dat.bak seclog.log stddef.dat Stddef.dat.bak StdState.dat StdState.dat.bak syslog.log tralog.log TState.dat TState.dat.bak TSysConf.xml -When making a uacd, run sygate silently using /QN Reboot=Supress -copy all the files listed above into sygate\spf\*.* using some bat/cmd or winrar executable file -Your settings are restored, but ntos*.exe may have to be refingerprinted. (List of files may include more than required files, but that really doesn't matter as the files are small sized after compression) B)
  22. Try to revert back to the original bios. You have to use afudos.exe in dos mode to do so. The bios can be downloaded or it probably will be on asus CD. Then you can again check the temp. The prescott's (if you have one) are happy at higher temperatures, mine runs at 56-60 c without overclocking that too using a copper core heatsink! You can search at http://www.techsupportforum.com/archive/in...php/t-8750.html for other solutions.
  23. Nice tool! Atleast one can feel a computer few years ahead of time, installing windows pretty fast!
  24. So you all very happy with the limited scope of Windows keys. I suggest you all try out hoekey. Expand your horizon and just see what you can do with keyboard. Like I use: Winkey+K = Winrar Winkey+k+Shift=7zip Winkey+k+Alt=IZArc Winkey+k+ctrl=Ultraiso Winkey +F2=Screen off So the possibilities are limitless. Use this nifty program to kill the mouse!! Program uses very little memory and easy to use. Get it at http://dana.ucc.nau.edu/~tsr22/apps/hoe.php
  25. I think free licence works only for Opera 7.54!
