One time i slipstreamed SP1 to all versions of vista and then at the end i did a "Rebuild All" method and remade the ISO. IF you just use one vista then just slipstream SP1 make a new ISO and just work from that.
I noticed the hotfix link was german so i thought i'd put up the english version. KB922582 x86 (32bit) 550 KB - Validation required. KB922582 x64 (64bit) 745 KB
normally Vista x64 Ultimate takes around 11.63gb hard drive space... when it says "1700MB" less it means that when vista is installed it will only use 9.93gb instead of the full 11.63gb. Basically its how much space you are saving compared to the full install. Make sense?
In the last 4-5 installations, with lots removed including WinSXS. Even with Component Cache removed in vLite Windows Updates still works fine even though it says on vLite they wont install. Has anyone else experienced updates installing fine with WinSXS removed? Just Curious. Lego
thanks, still kind of not what im looking for.... it doesnt display how much they have downloaded in a month or since the beginning of the month but it is much appreciated though.
Hello, i recently found out I've downloading 200GB of files a month (96GB so far this month) and would like to monitor the network usage on all the computers in my home.... the thing is i want a program where i can view all the computers usage from my computer so i don't have to go to each individual computer to check. So basically there is a little program on all the computers, which send all the usage data to a program on my computer. Does that make sense? I dont mean anything like a firewall or anything fancy. Thank you... it is much appreciated. Pretty much like a proxy server Liam
That's strange, i remove SmartCards and my iPod works fine, i use SharePod now anyways its much better, free, smaller and you can just copy the folder to your ipod so you can copy songs anywhere cos u dont have to install it.
