In general, overburn is about 715mb for me ... I have bought some 100mins (900mb) cd-r's last year, they work, but not really compatible will all cd readers and not all recordes support theses too ...

Use waik from microsoft.com and install it, you can create the unattended.xml file with it without any problem. Syntax of unattended.xml is more complicated than winnt.sif so prefer use waik. There are some generic unattended.xml on the forum too ... use Search function.

I'm using Vista since last week, nothing really annoying but today I have installed ffdshow and see somes videos ... I switch to fullscreen and .. omg .. subtitles are too bad ... I have re-activated Desktop Engine Composition and it's okay. But I don't want to use Aero effect ... Anyone has found the problem too ? Desktop Engine Off (Aero off, no Win+tab) Desktop Engine On (Aero on, Win+tab OK)

You can use OEMbios files activation, Read at http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=63258 & http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=71016 You will need the original manufacturer media or the system which is on the restore partition to get the oembios files. If you havn't these you can get a copy from http://www.oembios.net/

That's true. Microsoft SP2 discs (MCE 2k5, Home, Pro, Retail or MSDN or OEM) is "more" optimized/cleaned than a manual split-stream (no reference to sp1 and .cab are updated ...) btw, I have always use the ms sp2 disc and no problem.

Each .inf are re-copy to c:\windows\inf\ as oemXX.inf an .pnf so the name isn't a problem. The .pnf file contain the original drivers locations (x:\folder1\subfolder2\)

I havn't that symptom but SearchIndexer can be disable by services.msc, I'm testing while it's disabled atm ....

I have a .reg file to set certain filetype with pspad and forr aother applications (foobar2k, mplayerClassic). This doesn't work because Windows read HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.xxx , so I have deleted the key "UserChoice" of each customized filetypes. Sure now I must adapt my regfiles to UseChoice, but that works for the moment ...

irritated post ^^ @yezeiyashein: Excuse-me but I MUST say, are you n00b ? Have you read a bit what is "optimization" of an ISO file ? This "optimization" present in many programs (like UltraISO, CDIMAGE ..) doesn't compress anything, it will put once a file which is present many times, so these programs can put 4800Mb on 480Mb if the 4800Mb contains 10 times the same 480mb data. (btw, sorry for my language ...)
