  3. Nah, she's still fine for TikTok, but too old to date D.Draker, oh no wait a minute, 24? It's the upper limit I had to choose in the dating App, they only allow 18-24. OMG, why?!?! I'd wanna choose 18-22. 22 and 24 is a huge gap. 24 is a no go, she would wanna have kids, a family, she would wanna you to have a good job. Ideally, you want 18, 19 at the max. Older ones are usually spoiled by the rich parents and over-dated. It's disgusting to even think she compares you to the many boyfriends she already had at her 24, Now, copy/paste my raving wisdom for the future use. I tried TikTok, it totally sucks for dating, too many ugly ones, not to mention their over-protective self esteem. I'm glad they decided to block it! P.S. Folks, I know you all are glad to have me back, enjoy!

  5. It's our weak leaders, I'd ban the hell everything. But then again, we should acknowledge they learnt how to use our democratic values against us!

  6. This ban is NOT useless. And it have nothing to do with privacy right. The reason for ban is simple - Tik-Tok manipulating western society to do harm to they own countries and weakened them, in ideal - elect spy's of CCP\ru. We just see that in Romania, when those who don't use Tik-Tok have no idea who was that guy who "won" in first tour of elections. So again ban have nothing to do with "PRIVACY RIGHTS", it have to do with nefarious activity of CCP\ru to harm and, eventually, destroy free world. In Ukraine every dog know that telegram is ru\FSB property, but many people still use telegram. They say: i just upload videos there and do not share confidential information, but installing telegram app on smartphone make smartphone compromised! People are not that smart of species. Then ban this Red Note - what seems to be the problem? I heard american kids play in that game "whack-a-mole", well now it's maybe that game. No problem, just ban them all. Don't let them in your informational space. They do more than that, not only YouTube is banned there, but even Wikipedia is banned in China, which explains why Chinese segment of Wikipedia is smaller than Ukrainian segment despite huge size of Chinese population. They already banned western platforms - you should do the same - ban all their platforms. Let they speak to themselves, cook gooses and talk to each other how good that all they houses land are just rented from CCP government and they don't own it. P.S. By the way, to learn about real "values" of china society go in google and search 4chan chinese webm you will find out how psychotic they population and how they have zero empathy to each other,

  7. I'm blocked on YT, they say I'm a bot. What's it about?

  8. Millions of people, in the US too, used TikTok for dating, neither it's a joke, nor is off-topic, and it's public knowledge. Where will they go? Tell D.Draker.

  9. Thanks for the links. I'm afraid my choices are mainly down to a lack of skill. Creating a VM for XP wasn't my first objective. I wanted an OS that when necessity demands can run a truly up to date browser. I'm not a particular fan of Linux (I find its UI both incomplete and inconsistent) but I hate the newer incarnations of Windows. I think Linux Mint is probably the path of least resistance. It runs the latest Firefox browser. It also runs legacy browsers such as Basilisk and Firefox 52. As an after thought I wondered if it could run Windows XP. VirtualBox 7 is the default install under Mint's Software Manager (again, path of least resistance when you don't really know what you're doing). Outside running games (not a great concern for me) I'm really pleased. I have Office XP (including Outlook) running, I have an ancient version of Coral running. All things that run fine under XP but have become some kind of insane, cloud-based, mess under today's Windows. Ben.

  10. This is of course true, but it is not the only positive effect. Password protection prevents MediaFire's virus scanner from being able to scan these files and therefore from reporting any further nonsense. My uploaded files should only be downloaded by people who trust me and my information. It works according to the principle Take it or leave it! Nobody is forced to download anything from me. And if after downloading my files a locally installed antimalware programme reports files as malicious, they should then be excluded from scanning as usual.

  11. Only 2 of 62 scanners flag the cacert_Updater_Fixed_Recreated.7z file as malicious. That's a perfect result. One of these two scanners is Kaspersky. So again, forget about Kaspersky! It's trash just like Jiangmin.

  12. In April of 2022, I already recreated the cacert_Updater.exe due to false positives generated by some scanners. Read more about it here: https://msfn.org/board/topic/183352-proxhttpsproxy-and-httpsproxy-in-windows-xp-for-future-use/?do=findComment&comment=1217288 Strangely, the archive in this post has not been flagged as malicious by MediaFire although it contains the same cacert_Updater.exe file.

  13. Of course, you can download these files from the original source provided by @cmalex: https://mega.nz/folder/68dj2YTY#As2w31IO4Smr7gy6p1ciSg

  14. These two files, for example, both created by @cmalex, are incorrectly classified as malicious by MediaFire's virus scanner although they are virus-free: https://www.mediafire.com/file/pdy1cd8insmdq7g/ProxyMII_220717.7z/file https://www.mediafire.com/file/yb0xjos28l110xx/ProxyMII_230813.7z/file

  15. I was able to finally get it after creating a mediafire account and through URL manipulation. Hello! You are the very first reporting problems with the download of files I hosted on MediaFire. In any case, all my files are clean and free of malware. If MediaFire really reports something like this, it is very wrong. I have now checked my MediaFire account, and indeed, some of my files uploaded years ago are suddenly and wrongly flagged as malicious. MediaFire seems to use a new virus scanner, and it must be very bad. Therefore, all flagged files will be replaced by me with archives protected by a password to free MediaFire from such false positives. The password will be provided in the section 11. Downloads of my main article in the first post of this thread. Four archives are incorrectly classified as malicious by MediaFire's virus scanner. Of course, all my uploaded files are virus-free. I have now re-uploaded these files with password protection so that MediaFire doesn't continue to make such nonsense. As always, the download links with the corresponding password will be provided in the section 11. Downloads of my main article in the first post of this thread. Cheers, AstroSkipper

  16. Over the past summer, I set up a 6th gen-based Dell Optiplex with Windows 7, and that thing absolutely flies with a nice 1 TB SSD and 16 GB of RAM. I've been thinking of *gasp* upgrading it to 10, but, honestly, I don't really see any point to it other than curiosity. 7 is doing everything I want with no problems, and there's no reason to change it unless/until I encounter something I want to use that it can't run. If I had a spare SSD that I could swap in, maybe I would try 10, so that if I didn't like it (and I probably wouldn't), I could simply swap my undisturbed Windows 7 SSD back in and pick up where I left off. c

  17. My new laptop [Asus Vivobook Pro 16] came with Windows 11, i am hating it, honestly it is 10x times worse than Windows 10. Windows 10 on first boot takes 2GB of RAM with all my CAD and Visual Studio install, 11 on fresh system consuming 6 gb + ram. What kind of bloatware is this? Some of my insider friend inside Microsoft said with Windows 12 it will get worse, some components in Windows 11 Shell is React Native, but majority will be react native in windows 12.

  18. WinReducerEX100. https://forum.winreducer.net And the "base" OS is Win10 1607 (year = 2016). I do have a tweaked version of Win10 1809 (year = 2019) but it's still at trial-and-error due to a very long blank screen during cold boot. 1809 doesn't gain me anything over 1607 and I'll likely never need 1809 but would jump to 21H2 next. Only time will tell. I used XP for twenty three years. Perhaps I'm being naive, but I have my fingers crossed that I can get at least half that (call it twelve years) and sail along just fine with 1607! "Support" from Microsoft is MEANINGLESS to me. I don't even install "updates" to 1607! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

  19. My Win10 is ALREADY TWEAKED DOWN TO ONLY 27 PROCESSES !!! (the screencap shows 28 because I had to open the Task Manager process, lol) This is technically from inside a VM but my HOST is IDENTICAL. To be perfectly fair and honest and not hide anything, the process count is 29 and 31 on two laptops but this is due to sound and graphics drivers for higher resolutions than default generic drivers. This tweaked-down version of Win10 (1607) is the result of two years of trial-and-error all while still running XP as my only OS. I could NOT bring myself to migrate away from XP until I was able to get Win10 to my liking. And as one might suspect, it was web browser and billpay access HEADACHES in XP that was the "last straw". Once I did finally end up a Win10 User, I REGRET NOT DOING IT SOONER - Win10 *is* much BETTER once you tweak out the BS!

  21. Yeah, yeah, yeah - "i am to lazy but let start HOLY_WAR!!!" You contradicting yourself - if you don't want to argue - don't do that. I expect consistency and uniformity of actions and words. When Germany TEMPORARILY open coal mines to not left without electrical greed - she is there protesting it. But when ruzzia explodes Nord Stream (by the way - thanks, id*#**! ) she do nothing, only post in twitter. And when s*** hits the fan with ecology in Dnipro river or in Black Sea - where is her actions? It's double standards! If that happen near any western country - she would go in apeshit mode. But what - it's in Eastern Europe? - crickets, no reaction.

  22. It almost looks like it! Good observation! Thanks for reporting and clarifying! Although I'm not a Windows XP 64-bit user, this is good news for everyone who uses this operating system.

  23. Or, you should have just read my article about Panda Free Antivirus carefully: But it would be much more interesting to know whether Panda Free Antivirus runs stably under Windows XP 64-bit For example, what about the initially reported starting problems of Panda's service PSUAService? 24. Thanks! Of course, I have known all this for a long time. Unfortunately, this is a matter of interpretation and definition. Mebibyte (MiB) did not exist in the past. And many use MB as what MiB is now. Explorer, Total Commander and myself use the following old designation MB. The following applies: 1024 B = 1 KB. 1024 KB = 1 MB. 93181864 B = 93181864 : 1024^2 MB ≈ 88.87 MB. That's what is MiB nowadays. The designation MiB emphasises the binary character of the unit and MB is now to be given only a decimal character. So, I agree with you, the Opera download manager on my Android tablet uses the decimal character of MB (1 MB = 1000 KB) and has, in itself, done nothing wrong. I personally prefer to stay with my old designation MB, which is always to be understood in a binary context (1 MB = 1024 KB). Thus, I am definitely not imprecise what of course is to be expected in science but simply old school. Best regards, AstroSkipper

  25. Update notification! Panda Free Antivirus has been updated and is now of version 22.01.01. Furthermore, I added the link to @UCyborg's post Got Panda running on XP x64 and @VistaLover's provided, alternatve link for the offline installer to my article. Cheers, AstroSkipper
