  1. Greretings. Yes. In new archive - upgraded openssl (3.0.0 -> 3.0.5), cryptography (3.3.2 -> 3.4.8), created ProxHTTPSProxy.exe, small changes in directory structure. Best regards.

  2. I hadn't had much hope that this would happen. But, from now on, we definitely have a proxy with TLS 1.3 protocol support targeting Windows XP. More details can be found in my thread: I'll keep you informed. Cheers, AstroSkipper

  3. Hi to all interested members or visitors, I've tested a bit the ProxyMII version, created by @cmalex. And what should I say, it works. What does that mean? This ProxHTTPSProxy+Python3.7 version can establish a TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 connection to different servers or secure websites in Windows XP. Here is a screenshot of browserleaks.com when using this proxy in Iceape-UXP: TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 has been disabled, presumably for security reasons. The proxy settings have to be set manually or using ProxySwitch.bat. Cheers, AstroSkipper

  4. New build of post-deprecated Serpent/moebius for XP! * Notice: This repo will not be built on regular schedule, and changes are experimental as usual. ** Current moebius patch level should be on par with 52.9, but some security patches can not be applied/ported due to source milestone differences between versions. 6. But TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 are supported, and therefore, all TLS protocols upcto TLS 1.3 are available in this new ProxHTTPSProxy. And that's fine with me. Never used 3proxy before, I'll test it as soon as possible. Do you have any experiences with this proxy?
    1 point
  7. Off course these are great news but TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 are weakly supported. I see that 3proxy is a very promising proxy program for windows xp users.

  8. also another important is from the new operating system to disable the drive letter of the second partition disk that has the old operating system so it will not show to the computer folder and will only show the drive letter of the first partition disk that has the new and that solves the problem completely

  9. Ugh ... hopefully you guys got everything working in FF52.9.1. I've uploaded current files from Serpent and everything seems to be working, but I only use it for testing now. Oops wont let me because of size, could upload elsewhere if needed, but roytams thread if you need. mozavcodec.dll mozavutil.dll vcruntime140.dll vcruntime140.dll I can't reply to VistaLover as the thread is closed (old posting) but primetime appears to not work at all anymore so I've disabled the plugins totally now. Not everything is working even in Serpent, but hopefully things will improve - keeping my fingers crossed. **cautiously optimistic**

  10. And again, thank you so much for all this information and for your new download link! Recompiling cryptography 3.4.8 with new OpenSSL3.0.5 would be great, of course. The more recent the better, especially in the regards of ciphers and security protocols. What does your new archive contain? Maybe, I am a bit confused. Did you already recompile it? I am writing here on my Android tablet, I have to start my desktop computer, obviously, to check what you have done and what the new archive is about.

  11. Greetings. Yes, i see that. But on my screenshots same version with IE8 give me SSL3 TLS1.0 TLS1.1 enabled. And wget also can see SSL3 wget.warc.gz - result of command 'wget -e "https_proxy=127.0.0.1:8079" "https://clienttest.ssllabs.com:8443/ssltest/viewMyClient.html" --no-check-certificate --warc-file=wget' I can't find old mails with descriptions - so much easiest solution is to recompile cryptography 3.4.8 with new OpenSSL3.0.5. 3proxy can use much more ciphers. ProxHTTPSProxy.EXE - launcher based on pip scripts - it just call python37.exe and import ProxHTTPSProxy.py sslproxies2.7z - full ProxyMII and 3proxy with upgraded openssl (3.0.0 -> 3.0.5), cryptography (3.3.2 -> 3.4.8), created ProxHTTPSProxy.exe, small changes in directory structure. Best regards. UPD. And forgot to say - my main comp is verified GMOSSE2-free :-). So it all works on non-SSE2 CPU. wget.warc.gz

  12. If you need assistance, don't hesitate to ask me. The proxy ProxyMII is not as complicated as it seems to be. And it definitely works.

  14. I have some experience as a user of a Ruffle implementation on another site, specifically the SMF plug-in. It is not perfect and is not good in some instances where you'd be better off using actual Flash instead. The specifics are memory leaks and not being able to handle large amounts of symbols. The symbols one is weird as it causes logic errors to occur.

  15. A download link has already provided in the sixth post of this thread by @cmalex. Or what do you mean?
    1 point
  16. Hi @cmalex, thank you very much for your reply and your download link! I've taken a short look into it, and I have two questions. The version ProxyMII is written in Python, it has not been compiled to an executable exe file, and the proxy has to be executed by proxymii.bat. Is that correct? If so, could it be compiled to exe files? I would like to integrate it in my ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu, only with your permission, and credits to you, of course. In this case, a compiled version would be perfect and presumably, necessary, too. I am not familiar with Python, and therefore, I never compiled Python code, either. But, first of all, many thanks again for your report here and your proxies! Kindest regards, AstroSkipper Hi @cmalex, I tested your proxy ProxyMII last night! And I am enthusiastic! It works as it should be. And you are great! You disabled TLS 1.0 and 1.1 protocol due to security reasons. Is that correct? I provided screenshots of my tests in the posts before. I think I could implement this proxy in my ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu as it is, but in case of having compiled exe files, the proxy would be much easier to control. And the RAM consumption would probably also be somewhat lower. What do you think? Cheers, AstroSkipper

  18. Thank you for your support ! All I tried to say , I've been observing quite a big bunch of folks wanted newer drivers for Vista and after I ported them - silence. Which leads me to assume they are satisfied with the latest ported version 377.83 from 2018. Yes , I read the one quesion about 411.xx but we need testers with proper hardware , some skills and time, and it looks like there's none , like you said.

  19. May I ask ... do you recommend any good and safe malware free emulators that will work on XP?

  20. Greetings. More than year ago i'd compiled OpenSSL3.0.0 for WinXP and build on it base two MITM proxy for TLS1.3 - ProxHTTPSProxy+Python3.7 (port 8079) and 3proxy+SSLPlugin (port 3128). 3proxy use less memory and CPU resources. Best regards.

  21. Sorry to hear that, I read, but of course, it's beyond the scope of my knowledge. It does appear little interest in Vista development on here as of late

  24. I get the same login crap !!! It's well known that big American(read chinese) corpos are blocking European IPs, big ranges of European IPs , to be precise . I don't know if you saw , but we already had a similar issue with the MS website .

  25. @jaclaz thanks for the advice steps and reply "....the two OS's MUST be installed to separate partitions...." they were already installed to different partitions "....(you can use a bootmanager like grub4dos to selectively hide at boot time the "other partition")" but if you hide the other operating system you will not be able to select and use it "....(provided that the disk has been originally partitioned, formatted under 7)" before an installation every operating system should format its own partition cheers

  26. -but all my browsers doesn't work (get loggin page) after getting this login page in one of my browsers...weird, maybe ISP has add specific deny for the IP? New surprise to me: I get the login page after 3 times reloading page ... PS. Is this link secure?..: bot.incolumitas.com/proxy_detect.html I've denied in uBlock the 0.0.0.0 and 127.0.0.1 ... but have another IP not denied... I'm not sure about this link...

  27. I don't recommend FF 52.9 unless one needs Firefox Sync. That was the case for @Dave-H, who originally ran into the problem with Instagram videos, so I pointed out that uBO can be installed in FF 52.9 for his benefit. Since it seems to let Instagram videos play in Serpent 55, I think there's a good chance it'll do the trick for FF 52.9 also. Evidently uBO in FF 52.9 didn't work for you, @msfntor, but I notice that the uBO version you have in FF 52.9, v1.13.8, is quite old. The version you have in Serpent 55, v1.16.4.26, is much newer. Perhaps the newer version would do the trick in FF 52.9 even though v1.13.8 didn't. You can get all of JustOff's uBO versions, all the way up to his latest, 1.16.4.30, at the link I gave in my last post. (I have uBO set to update automatically, so I'm at v1.16.4.30.) P.S. I'm not sure what's going on with the intermittent login demands from Instagram that @msfntor has been experiencing. That is a truly baffling problem, but login demands aren't the problem @Dave-H described (for one thing, I think @Dave-H has an Instagram account and can log in if he wants). He just isn't seeing (and thus can't play) the videos.

  28. Seen this too with uBlock disabled...BUT if using (enabled) uBlock, these videos reappear... - in Serpent 55. Links I posted in another thread that are censored by login demand following my changes on Facebook link of instagram.com in uBlock, after 24 hours are once again OK today... Cookies problem? Or change user-agent?... +1. EDIT: Instagram post 3rd link to test: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CNvXOw1g56k/?igshid=yfmoainfvma2

  30. The Instagram videos aren't working again for me now in Firefox 52.9 ESR. Can anyone else confirm this? Carousel videos are just a white space, single videos don't appear at all, I suspect they've just collapsed to a single line again.

  31. So which videos aren't working now? Oh, now I see 7 months elapsed between those posts, so maybe I should ask, are any videos not working now?
    1 point
  32. Yes, those files are working fine here too, on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. I've disabled the Primetime plugin. I'll report back if I find any downside to using the files instead of the plugin, but all looks good at the moment. Thanks, Dave.

  35. Dave-H, you can replace two files in the Firefox folder C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox mozavcodec.dll и mozavutil.dll These are old basilisk files they are suitable for Firefox 52. There is a H264 decoder, there is no need for a plugin "Primetime" and the CPU does not load heavily.
