ehh..... cable - 5mb downstream/ 800kbps upstream. Which is spread out between 4 computers.

ok dont laugh..i am stuck with a 33.6 kbps dial-up connection..and wat is worse it actually takes over 10 minutes to load a page even if its not graphics intensive..the fun's gone out of surfing for me...boo hoo...

Use opera to make even your 28.8 kbps bsnl dial-up line fun to surf on. (take the time to configure it - its lightning fast)

I was on the same 33.6 previously, and MSFN forum pages loaded in 2 seconds flat! :D

I remember when stuff ran at less than 10kb/s. What you guys have in India sux.

@prathapml It's odd, but msfn is one of the slowest loading pages for me. Sometimes it will hang and I will have to close the tab and restart the page. Other times it will load most of the page but some of the smaller graphics will just hang and I will stop the loading.

2Mb/s+

I love my connection with 5mb down and 800 up... Usually host 14 people for MOHAA demo. But thats when im bored. w00t w00t! B)

Cable. Have downloaded 1, 2 and 3 MB files instantly before, but it took me about 6 mins to DL SP2 at 550+ KBs so...I voted for 512.

The poll should have which speed, upload or download.

Well I just voted my download speed.

  • 2 weeks later...

Mine tested as 5 mbit down on mcafee but I pay for

3.6/1.8 cable and they are upgrading it soon to 4/2 for free.

That is through comcast. I hate verzion more than life but they are comming out with 15 and 30 mbit downstream packages within a year :P

wow you all have gr8 speeds,

and i hate my cable net provider, he keeps disconnecting me every hour (after which i have to login to continue my downloads)

thanks prath the s/ware you recomm. is gr8, it shuts down my system when he(cable) shuts his. so my comp gets some rest.

now only if i could just get a s/ware that automatically logs in whne the nets down.
