RyanVM
%DATE:~4,14%That should get the date without the "Sat".EDIT: You can only use variable with REG.EXE, not REGEDIT.EXE.Any idea how I'd use this or perform an equivalent task in an INF?EDIT: Does anybody know how Microsoft calculates their 5 digit checksum values? I'm most interested in using the %DATE% variable.
OCedHrt
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...4d-ad8430a1f7c8This might be important as well? My friend's computer couldn't recieve files because of the nForce hardware firewall being on the loopback I think? We didn't test it thoroughly but after installing the update and a reboot aim transfers worked. Could've been fixed just by rebooting I suppose, but not likely. larciel
so from what i understand, it's good to have Ryan's edited TCPIP.SY_ file 'after' i install the KB884020 ?and what's the best way to intergrate the KB884020 into SP2 cd? (cmd line?)and if it is so, do i have to manually copy the ryan's TCPIP.SY_ after i clean-install windows? or is there automated way to do it all?TIY
RyanVM
I'd say to just copy the expanded version to dllcache and system32\drivers...or wait a couple days for what I've got brewing
