mackid1993
Thanks for this @Tihiy. I may have found a small bug with taskbar segments. Here is a screen recording showing repro steps. https://www.dropbox.com/t/vr8VWFpBfUddsFa4 Edit: I tested against 3.7.11 and this doesn't happen with that build. companyja
Thanks for the update! Touch keyboard taskbar icon now loads normally when set to Always On. I'd say this behaves identically to 3.7.11 now for me; the only problem that's left is the calendar/notification area appearing on the left or not appearing at all when taskbar is on top after restart until switched to top manually, but this has been a problem since forever for me. Cheers!
FZERO
I have found a small bug. If you grab something on the taskbar and drag it to the right, it can be moved behind the clock or toolbar. There should be a boundary that prevents this.
JJC
Thanks for the update! Quick Launch bar submenu "Text not displaying correctly" ( Looks like a background refresh issue ) This problem still exists in version 3.8 Beta. Example: ( Toolbar: Links ) [FolderA] Shortcut-A1 Shortcut-A2 [Folder-A3] Shortcut-A31 Shortcut-A32 [FolderB] Shortcut-B1 Shortcut-B2 "Shortcut-A31" and "Shortcut-A32" is "Text not displaying correctly". ( Looks like a background refresh issue ) I hope this problem can be solved, Thank you.
sananda
Maybe Found a Bug: With enabled Segmentation and Centering in the Taskbar Options, Segmentation on the right Side is broken when closing all Windows. iaTa
Working fine so far on build 26100.1150. Edited July 22 by iaTa
zwatotem
Found out, that icon margin size looks to be unimplemented. I don't know, if this is known/intentional or a bug, or an oversight. Anyway, here is comparison between margin sizes XS and XL. No difference whatsoever. I tried restarting the taskbar (off, restart explorer, on, restart explorer), but to no effect. As far, as I can remember in 3.7.11 it refreshed right away though. I'm now on 24H2 (build 26120.1252), so can't roll back and check. Anyway, thanks for making this awesome program and continuous support. Very appreciated.

Are you sure that is also true for cases, when labels are enabled? Because on this old screenshot I found, I seem to have a lot thinner margins and more place for the starting letters of the caption. => Could it have been just different default behavior then?
rseiler
@mackid1993 "t works properly in Alpha 2r, it is broken in Alpha 2ah which is the latest." Can you elaborate on this (a reference to taskbar icon progress indicators)? Do you mean 2r and earlier or just that one? It wasn't working in either of them for me or anything later .It's hard to believe that it was working in a single build only, so I assume you meant up to that point, then it stopped? But even that's problematic, since why would it work for you at all but not here? Maybe due to the taskbar orientation (vertical in my case) or some other setting? It would be worth figuring out in case there's some simple way to get it working now that we're overlooking.
SESNut
is the whole row of icons supposed to lag behind the top edge of the taskbar every time it goes in and out of autohide? Like is that intentionally part of the animation?
boji
I use both open-shell and startallback simultaneously; (left, open-shell) (right, startallback) startallback 3.8 breaks the compatibility of these two. Unlike what you see above, both icons land in the middle simultaneously, overlapping one another and both competing for space, vibrating against each other. Anyway to ensure compatibility of both? Mikaelo
I have small issue. With version 3.7.11, the start menu appears as close to the vertical main taskbar as possible. In the new 3.8 beta, it's strictly in the middle of the screen, which is factually correct of course, but from a my point of view, it's better to have the start menu as close to the taskbar as possible. version 3.7.11 version 3.8 Beta And START menu opens randomly, non-standard, sometimes yes, sometimes not - please see linked video https://e.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZ5IfgZ3vmcYxpUKH0MzH7QuMykVXyXO6FV Edited July 23 by Mikaelo
