I do have latest Widevide and Silverlight so it looks like I am knackered

where can I find version v4.10.2710.0 

looks like I can No longer get Netflix on 360EE , I used to be able to, even with a newer latest useragent

I can only assume that some sites Must do a deeper sniffing at what browser you are using

also where can i change useragent in Thorium cant find it like in 360EE

Nope, Last version is 4.10.2830.0 (catched from Kodi ). Earlier versions will no more work.

Version is not important.  NONE will work in 360Chrome.  NONE will work in Supermium.  NONE will work in Thorium.  NONE will work in Ungoogled Chromium.

YOU MUST USE OFFICIAL CHROME OR OFFICIAL FIREFOX if you want Netflix to work with WINDOWS!  There is no way around it because Netflix links a "browser" .sig file with your browser's Widevine .sig file.

What you are trying to do is bybass the "browser" .sig file - this cannot be done in WINDOWS.  It can, however, be done in LINUX.

Only OFFICIAL CHROME and OFFICIAL FIREFOX have the MONEY to PAY for the .sig file!

360Chrome, Supermium, Thorium, and Ungoogled Chromium do not have the MONEY to PAY for the .sig file.

I haven't try, but there is google play store application to check it.

An some releases ago, L1 wasn't available on Firefox based browsers, don't  know for now.

If it's still desktop browsers on Windows we're talking about here, then WidevineCDM has always been limited to L3 there (software decryption, the weakest form of DRM protection); L2 (aka VMP) is a quite recent addition (to desktop browsers), I'd say not older than 2-3 yrs; as for L1 (H/W decryption) on a desktop Windows browser? Some Reddit posts mention it should be available on (Chr)Edge (via PlayReady 3.0) on Win11, but I'm not even sure this is correct; basically, for L1 DRM on Windows [10?] 11 you need a compatible GPU/CPU with TEE (decryption chip) and the latest (Netflix) app from the Windows App Store...

For reference (though from 2.5yrs ago) : read this ; as a rule of thumb, WV L1 is restricted to mobile devices (phones/tablets), STBs and Smart TVs...

I cannot personally confirm this, but I've read on Reddit that PlayStation 3 still does Netflix in 2024.

New user here, not a computer nerd but learning as I go. Still using Windows Vista 32bit and have downloaded & installed Supermium, unfortunately cannot see it in start up menu, any ideas? Also would Thorium be any better? Holding off Windows 10 for as long as possible as would have to get a new desktop as well. Any help appreciated 👍

Did you use the supplied installer for Supermium?
That should certainly have generated the necessary shortcut to run it.

I started with Supermium, but on XP x86 its RAM use was excessive, and tabs would sometimes crash as the memory was exhausted.
Then I tried Thorium, and that seemed to be better with RAM.

Unfortunately, Supermium then moved on, and Thorium didn't, which meant that I was missing things that I wanted on Thorium which were there on Supermium, so I went back to Supermium. The memory usage problem hasn't gone away, but I am living with it!
It only affects memory hungry sites like Instagram and Facebook.

I used Softpedia which had some hangups then tried Major Geeks which worked. I can see Supermium in programme list and files but cannot get it onto startup list, it didn't create a shortcut either.

Download the setup file (I assume you want 32 bit) from here -

That should set everything up properly, it did for me.
The only thing you can't do on XP (and presumably Vista too) is use the built-in facility to make it the default browser.

My scientific guess would be: the real reason is, google had removed the old OS UI elements completely, it happened after v.126.
