(quote from precedent page: Said it before, will say it again - never allow javascript by default! This alone will prevent 99.9999999% of "security vulnerabilities". No, I don't know the "exact" percentage, but 9 nine's has to be pretty close!) For our website, Security Report Summary (by securityheaders.com) says: "F", and no headers, Mising Headers; scan results here: https://securityheaders.com/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fmsfn.org&followRedirects=on -so it's bad for security, no? What we have instead, is they sold their soul out of some sort of "If you can't beat 'em, JOIN 'EM". OK, looking back at what I said, it didn't make much sense. As someone said: Quote Google, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, and Mozilla are all different heads of the same hydra, looking to control the Internet and the world. Thank you , it's a tough (hard as steel ) question, not everything you can block with just that ! The browser engine itself needs to be updated too ! I'm not among those who do it every week, but 3 years old is too much. I suggest to upgrade ones browser every 6 months or so. Second part, I don't agree with the precedent fellow, stealing cookies wouldn't involve scripts of any kind. With years cookies themselves became more complex , there's a new generation of "worker" cookies that may have a script inside that you can't block ! I already gave an example with the Mega website.

Websites that use advanced "worker cookies" are Mega , Twitter , Facebook , Instagram , etc. They are located in the Service Worker folder (not the usual place for ordinary cookies!). They aren't deleted , even when you click on clear data.
dmiranda
Well, extensions of that sort would prevent that s*** from happening to you, and some others will allow you to select which cookies to keep and which ones to delete, both in chrome and firefox browsers.
