This is Proxomitron showing us the code for the .css and the URL that the .css uses for FontAwesome.

You could download it from this URL and save it locally.

But then you would need to tell your browser to use your local download (something else that Proxomitron can do).

Thank you, i will try it.

What extensions are you running?

I think I found out the intruder.

I have used this extension to temporarily disable all extensions

https://browsernative.com/disable-chrome-extensions-apps/

then I tried different words on the upper google search bar in order to find one that would trigger the issue

I have just discovered that when this extension is enabled it will pop the error window off

https://browsernative.com/user-agent-chrome-extension/

this browser doesn't work on either of them 32 or 64 bit W7 !

To temporarily disable all extensions, use "New incognito window" (Click on Menu - and click on the 2nd link...).

This browser works perfectly in Windows XP, so it will also work in Windows 7... there is probably a mistake on your part... do the tests without your extensions, in "New incognito window" - and post the results...

This browser works in XP x86, XP x64, Vista x86, Vista x64, 7 x86, 7 x64, 10 x86, and 10 x64.  I've ran it in all of them.  Zero reason it shouldn't work in 11 x86 and 11 x64.

First and foremost, whatever you do, DISABLE any anti-virus and firewall that doesn't know what it is doing!

After trying your User-Agent Switcher extension, WHOER.net says:

"Sorry, you have been blocked

You are unable to access whoer.net" - thanks to cloudflare...

- so I've removed this extension...

I use Random User-Agent (Switcher)https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/random-user-agent-switche/einpaelgookohagofgnnkcfjbkkgepnp

- but it's useless too, it seems to me - because other fingerprinting options are always valid, unfortunately: No-JavaScript fingerprintinghttps://noscriptfingerprint.com/

the rebuild 3 works fine however the rebuild 7 doesn't.

I used two different partitions to ensure there was not something underground preventing the browser from working

this is a clean partition with W7 x64 and a handful of basic utilities. there's no anti virus and I didn't mess with W7 default settings

now I can't get either of them to work, I deleted the browser folder and unzipped it again but the issue is not gone.

Neither one of those screencaps is my browser.

of course it is.  there's no other chrome fork in this partition.

I have deleted and unzipped your browser multiple times

Then your Windows Registry has been polluted with 360Chrome entries that should not be there.

Step 1 - CLOSE 360Chrome

Step 2 - verify in Task Manager that 360Chrome is NOT RUNNING

Step 3 - launch regedit - 360Chrome must NOT BE RUNNING

Step 4 - go to this section of your Windows Registry

Step 5 - if you have any 360 or 360chrome keys between Software and where I have 7-Zip, DELETE THEM and REBOOT THE COMPUTER

Step 6 - delete the entire 360Chrome folder, PROFILE AND ALL, and extract a brand new folder

OK. I deleted the 360chrome key and another key called 360se6 (not sure where it came out though)

problem still remains but I found out the issue

I was using the 360 loader file (1814KB) from the application folder and not the main 360 loader (500KB)

this is odd because with XP I use the same loader and there's no issue with it whatsoever
