Calendar Flyout is a solution.

Thanks for the hint..
I was surprised at first that someone was able to do it, but it turned out..
Well, this is not convenient at all and destroys the whole idea:

Probably the main downside of the Calendar Flyout app is that you cannot invoke it by clicking the standard clock in the notification area.
Calendar Flyout uses a dedicated icon in the system tray, so users must re-train their muscle memory to find the needed button.

Yeah, and no way to customize flyout position (I'm using taskbar on the left, so I want to move the flyout there too).

Also no trial period, literally had to cяack it just to find out It doesn't work for me well enough and uninstall 5 minutes later.

Hi, I'm using StartAllBack v3.6.2 and so far it's very good!

I just have one big issue: I want to use the default windows 10/11 search feature. How can I do that ? I don't like the Win7 search engine and it's extremelly annoying to use. Please help me with this issue, maybe it's possible with some registery key ? there's no setting for this in the app settings.

Thanks !

Did 3.63 change anything about dark mode?

3.6.2.4650 OK top image

3.6.3.4665 NG under the image

Yes, it did. It no longer applies style changes with third-party styles. Oooh but I love this theme and it used to work blahblahblah.

It doesn't seem to work with anything other than the OS default theme.
Since there is no problem, I will continue to use 3.6.2 without updating.
Thanks!

There's a small problem with high contrast mode, I think since the last Windows update – the taskbar background is now dark grey (as if dark mode was enabled) instead of using the theme colour:

(taskbar background should be the same as Start Menu background)

Edit: happens both with 3.6.2 and 3.6.3

Tried updating from 3.6.2 to 3.6.3 - pretty much crashes, everything turns black and no gui available.  Have to run task manager to open explorer/control panel to roll back to a previous 3.6.1 install to get stuff working again.  I couldn't find a download mirror for 3.6.2.

Running on Win11 Enterprise build 25309.

After doing a Windows 11 Inplace Update with Internet disabled all works fine with StartAllBack 3.6.3 .

After turned on Internet . . . Problems starting like Above discripted .

After tryed to run Windows Update Problems starting . . . mostly the UWP Apps become not responding & good Old Windows NT Programs running like the last 30 Years ! ? !

Had Windows Update as reason in Mind for Problems so come to solution by first Empty " C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download " and then Restart Windows Update running Window CMD not Terminal because its UWP and is Buggy " wuauclt.exe /updatenow " .

Iam was frong the Problems come from my Hopeless try to Use own Fonts in Windows .

Does SAB have any involvement with remembering whether a system tray (notification area) icon is shown or hidden?

I ask because I've noticed when going to 23403 and now from 23403 to 23419, that almost all of them are hidden. Yes, dragging back out the ones you want works, but this will reset again with the next build upgrade.

While I do know that this never used to happen in previous years, I haven't been doing build upgrades in recent months to be able to narrow when it started--or even if SaB has anything to do with it.

Using 3.6.3

Yes, notification area settings are saved into separate registry key which may not be preserved with build upgrades.
