I'm now getting a nag banner popping up on MSFN all the time, on Firefox 52.9ESR/Windows XP and Firefox 71/Windows 10 asking me to switch off my ad blocker on the site and/or register and donate.
As I already have my ad blocker (AdBlock+) disabled on MSFN, and I am a "Platinum Sponsor", I'm a bit puzzled by this!
I think it started when the New Year started, does something on MSFN need to be updated?

I thought it was just me. Yeah, I'm getting the same behavior that started today. I'm on a Chrome variant.

Seeing that nag while logged in. On two different computers and browsers.

In addition, the "condensed" view option on Activity Stream view has stopped working. It shows Expanded view if either option is selected.

I'm also seeing the nag, today is the first day I notice it but i haven't been very active recently.

It's been happening to me ever since 2020 started in UTC 00:00 (so around 7 pm on December 31 for me).

Me, too (while logged in)! I've pinged xper about it, already.

No longer happening for me as of this evening. Seems the issue has been fixed

The ad blocking nag banner has come back again for me.
I changed my ad blocker from Adblock Plus to uBlock Origin recently, so I don't know if that might be the cause, it's disabled on this site of course.
As a Platinum Sponsor I shouldn't be seeing any ads anyway!

 

So we need a plug-in that hides plug-ins from nosey scripts.

 

It showed up for me yesterday, I just clicked the X and it didn't come back today.
