You should be using the Lenovo recovery media to install Windows 7 and not some other source. No.

unattended.xml in audit mode
Tripredacus replied to Ulaiphur's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
You don't need any of that. Just set Reseal to be Audit and it will log in with the Administrator account automatically. Also, don't change the password for the Administrator account. -
RunOnce command doesn't work
Tripredacus replied to Trolleule's topic in Unattended Windows 10/11 Installation
Well specifically: " Windows has a 256 character limit on commands ran from the RunOnce registry in HKLU or HKLM" -
The only time it is safe to remove a PCI sound card is when the power is off...

Have you tried your answerfile against a clean source? -

How to find the unique ID that Microsoft has assigned to you
Tripredacus replied to LetsWindows10's topic in Windows 10
The CID is tied to your MS account. It would make sense that if you use your MS account to log into Windows 10, then that ID is stored somewhere in the OS. See here: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/174208-windows-10-deeper-impressions/#entry1109597- 17 replies

This isn't news and isn't even related to Windows 10. Skydrive URLS have been formatted this way since it was released and OneDrive is the same. My SkyDrive bookmark I have in IE is from 2010 and has the CID in it.

Another reason why the IoT may not be that good an idea ...
Tripredacus replied to jaclaz's topic in Technology News
This video is primarily about how current laws in the US cause problems with computerizing everything and the IoT and how security is handled. -
2. OOBE is set to always appear unless you provide answers for it. If you want the user account page to show, then do not specify the creation of a user account.

Another reason why the IoT may not be that good an idea ...
Tripredacus replied to jaclaz's topic in Technology News
Case in point as to why IoT is a bad idea... This is from a guide on how to connect your new Honeywell Thermostat to a wireless network. If said SSID has been present "for a while" then it is likely a case where a technology is enabled by default where it probably shouldn't be. -
Disable Aero Glass on Specific Programs
Tripredacus replied to TheLegend90's topic in Aero Glass For Windows 8+
It sounds more the fault of Chrome having certain capabilities. Having Aeroglass be written to disable it from working on Chrome is approaching it from the wrong angle. Is it similar to how on Windows 7 with default Aero enabled, some programs when they are opened will cause Windows to change the theme to basic? I always run into this problem with Fireworks and never found a way to stop it from happening... although I haven't looked into it in a while. -
That type of clause is becoming the norm. The first time I heard about it was when Sony added it to one of the Playstation Network update EULAs, following that time PSN was down for almost a month. http://kotaku.com/5840517/new-playstation-network-terms-of-service-include-a-no-suing-sony-clause

I never trust a website, especially if it is asking for any sort of personal information, that uses bad grammar. Certainly, "if" should be changed to "is" and then it would be correct. However I don't think we're seeing Windows 10 being downloaded to "all" as they say. If so, we would likely had seen a larger (perhaps short-lived) jump in those browser/OS pie-chart websites for Win10.

The only reason I could think of is if you have a DX12 capable Radeon and want to play a new games that requires it.

What is your post in response to?
-
Personally no, I only use single language installations and do not use additional international keyboards.

It seems many have reported this lately, but I am uncertain whether it is specifically a Windows 10 issue or not. The reason is because this issue has been reported in previous versions of Windows as well, sometimes the cause being a virus. As for Windows 10, I've read people have started to see this happen for a variety of reasons that do not seem to be related. A lot of people say their computer had installed a Windows Update then this happened but it was not the only action people say have happened. Can you post here the things you've tried already?
-
You should install the driver for the HD Audio Device. If you are using Intel CPU only (no video card) then installing the Intel video driver should install the HDMI audio driver.
-
Make sure WinPE version and ADK version is the same. For my install, I don't even see any other languages besides en-US. Where do you get the additional language packs from?
-
I have no experience in this so all I can do is read about the subject. From that link I posted already, these three things are said to be your main concerns: However, if you read the previous post about why the guy thought about the 670, he looks into the things his specific software uses. Perhaps research what cards are good with the software you are using. With the requirement of a fast disk, I also wonder about the disk you encode to. Obviously you aren't saving your videos to your SSD right?

First of all, does your board have BIOS settings to enable hot-plug on the SATA ports?
-
I just typed this into google: And most results seem to indicate that it is not good for video editing. However, those reactions are old and may not reflect vs the Intel 4000 you use now. You may have to test to see if it really will make a difference for you or not. I found this discussion about this particular comparison. It mentions a bunch of terms and software examples I'm not familiar with but maybe it helps you. http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2252020

Retro HP Vectra VL 6/333 won't boot with Celeron 333mhz
Tripredacus replied to jm764's topic in Hardware Hangout
It does appear to be a downgrade. The PII has more L2 cache than the Celeron. Look here: http://www.cpu-museum.de/?m=Intel&f=Pentium+P-II#cpu0561 http://www.cpu-museum.de/?m=Intel&f=Celeron#cpu0280 Unless those are the wrong CPUs. Otherwise try to find a manual for that board. A BIOS update may also be needed.
