Most probably, if its a copied CD, then it wont play, because the physical-authentication parts of the original may not be present in the copy. Safedisc protection is normally cracked by many groups... And maybe the crack which worked till now, is not working anymore, that is all. The game is fine, the crack has incompatibility issues with SP2 somehow... Nothing can be said for sure, since rule #1 is "no cracks"...

Errr... Windows is not "easier", you are simply more familiar with it, thats all. FthrJACK above has given a nice explanation... And there's little chance of finding linux programmers on this board. How are you providing net access to all the other terminals? Via a proxy? Then try WinGate or WinProxy which allows you to set the above.

One way of knowing if your setup is frozen or not, would be to enter the debug mode. Press SHIFT+F10 Then you get a command prompt, if your PC is not frozen. Thereafter, you can see what processes are running, etc. by using the CMD prompt!

Unless you are dripping with money, you cant really get a top-end windows-powered mobile. Therefore, in steps Nokia.... satisfies all the needs at far lower prices - I suggest the Nokia 3230. Absolutely ROCKS.

It totally sucks. You'd rather opt for a nokia Smartphone that runs a REAL OS and therefore is extensible - the 3230.

I had almost the same requirements as you..... I suggest go for an industry standard - Symbian OS on Nokia phones - its cheaper as well - take a look

Hi all, I finally decided on getting the Nokia 3230 and am currently very happy with it. It compares well against even the 7610. It does not look as stylish, but supports EDGE and FM Radio which the 7610 does not have, PLUS all the things that the 7610 DOES have. Its cheaper as well. Runs Symbian 7.0 and supports all standards one can dream of. Can run N-Gage games as well. Best possible package today!
