  2. bit-comet offers an easy way to seed new torrents and becomes tracker.,....
  3. ".htaccess" is a potentially dangerous file, so providers dont allow it sometimes.
  4. I dont think anything is wrong at all! No need to fix anything! QUOTE tags can parse BBcode and CODE tags will not - that's normal.....
  5. The 6680 is quite expensive..... Among the above 3 models which seems best? and more info if any?
  6. Considering that the only choices because of pricing is the 3 three Nokia smart-phone models mentioned here: 6600 6670 7610Which is the best one to go for? As in, value-for-money, etc. Does going for a higher model justify the cost? I'm probably going to be a light-user of most of the higher-end features that these phones provide. And how essential is bluetooth?
  7. 64-bit PCs *ARE* a hell of a lot faster. That is, provided you give it the requisite accompaniments like PCI-E, SATA, and so on, to make full use of the architecture. For starters, Windows XP 64-bit installs in half the time that the 32-bit edition needs..... that's good enough a speed-up initially. And then you start seeing lot of compression apps working a lot faster, and 3D rendering and games.....
  8. A general policy is that your number of categories (or blogs) should be lesser than the posts within them. For example, 3 categories/blogs should have atleast 100 posts in each - else it gives the reader an "empty"-ish kind of feeling. I suggest that you let a sizeable number of posts accumulate and then start sorting them into categories or blogs.
  9. ROFL And down here I see PCs that mysteriously lose RAM modules....
  10. ZoneAlarm Security Suite has a spam-filtering feature.... And if the suite is not what you want, then get the plain anti-spam component alone... Free download from their site!
  11. http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/5...pression3_3.exe (57 MB) Creature House Expression 3.3 Trying to download from there is a whole lot of hoola hoops, so the above dl is a straight and easy link to it.

  14. Open notepad. Paste this into it: "c:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe" D:\songs\filename.mp3 C:\folder\gamename\program.exesave it as "whatever.BAT" (note the double quotes around the filename while saving in notepad, you need it, otherwise the file will end up with a .TXT extension) The first line opens winamp and loads the specified MP3 into it for playing. The second line runs your game. Both lines are just examples, you have to change the folder and file-names specified there as per your OWN needs. Do tell us how it goes...
  15. quite right, considering all the hack-ins that keep happening.....
  16. It, and the applications db....
  17. Try REALLY stressing your HD and running FAT32 for a year and NTFS for a year..... you start to dis-like the slowness of FAT32 after that. jack99, Dunno, "too many apps" and "junk" should NOT matter. The point is, "too many apps" does not affect NTFS as much as for FAT32. So that's reasonable proof of which is better tuned....
  18. Well, he doesn't need to know very much. A quick bit of it to be able to impress someone, that is all..... @Totoymola: Please be careful with spanish! Read this link to topic to understand what I mean....
  19. Read stickies and announcements before posting please..... http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=announce&f=70&id=3
  20. Hi, Partition Magic 8 DOES have a command-line AND can be used to re-size. Just install it and tell it to make a rescue disk onto floppies, and then copy over the whole thing it wrote, to a CD. Then put a DOS boot-sector and these files of PM8 and then your script onto the CD and boot off it. You could even run the script automatically by modifying the autoexec.bat
  21. good luck! I tried learning a bit of spanish too. Mostly from Enrique Iglesias songs..... comes in handy since where I am, ABSOLUTELY no one knows the language and so it can be used like code words.....
  22. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=45359 was just surprised how we missed this one..... Other News sites already had it up!
  23. True, as you said. The difference is clearly noticeable when transferring lots of micro-sized files, or a few HUGE files. And under normal circumstances, NTFS drives just plain gives a very responsive "immediate" feel, unlike FAT32/16. And of course, on NTFS, you can have your partition fragmented into thousands of fragments and still see decent operation, unlike FAT32 which gets bogged down.
