  1. x64 or x86? they don't mix. simple explanation but that's just my 2 cents...
  2. that's because vista renames its root drive to c: automatically.
  3. tested 88.61 in vista 5384 flawlessly. still to try on 5456.
  4. first off scan your pc for viruses/spyware/malware then try again. if that doesn't work, come back here. also, does it happen on a specific website or any website?
  5. lmao
  6. i agree. tried it myself once with no success.
  7. Welcome, enjoy your stay and good luck with your exams!
  8. Assuming that you are using the 32-bit Vista, is this the driver you are using? And for Vista x64 this one? When tested Vista on my pc (see sig, same graphics card B) ) with the drivers above didn't have any problems at all...
  9. I won the bet!!!!! (see previous thread) On a different note: NOT AGAIN!!!!
  10. Intel says it supports x64 besides x32. Don't know why it doesn't work with your chipset as I used it with mine and worked flawlessly. My chipset is 915P.
  11. As far as I know, XP will still get its holes plugged by windows update, but gadgets I'm sure will not come from M$.
  12. As any other member of msfn would say, first check you pc for viruses/malware/spyware. Usually programs don't just "crap out" out of the blue, ya know...
  13. wrong post... sorry.
  14. It isn't the hardware as it worked before flashing. After i flashed it, I didn't remove it from the pc before accessing its memory. I put the mp3 files onto it and THEN removed it from the pc. And THEN I realised it was dead. I have got it plugged into the pc as I'm typing and no "New Hardware" pop-ups in the tray... It doesn't appear in the Device Manager either. Bl**dy player...
  15. replace mshtml.dll with this one.
  16. Hi guys! I've got a Technika ML-2 mp3 player that one day decided not to play any files on it. More so, it said it hasn't got any in the memory although it showed memory full. Couldn't format it in DOS, Windows, etc., couldn't acces its memory, the only thing that was able to do is start up. Thought a firmware flash will sort it out. So i found a fresh firmware from SigmaTel (the chip in my player is a SigmaTel 3503) and flashed the player. During the flash process its memory was formatted as well. Everything went ok. After flashing I was able to access the memory and even put a few mp3's on it. Removed it from the pc, placed a battery in it and wanted to start the player. Dead! Not even the pc recognises it anymore (when i plug it in the usb nothing happens). Any chance to revive it? Any / all help will be highly appreciated. Thanks guys. nitro
  17. shouldn't that be x86??? anyway, thanks for the info
