  7. didn't quite undersand your problem, but since you already shared the resource, isn't it easier to just set the permissions for that user and map the resource?
  8. @Boardbabe just had exactly the same problem at one pc @ work earlier today. i just ran regedit and deleted all wmp10 keys. wmp11 installed ok after that. thought you might wanna try that too. take care... PS might be a good idea to back-up your registry before altering it, just in case.

  14. with the stock cooling my cpu idles @ 40 degrees centigrade. was actually looking into reducing its temperature and then see how much more i can get.
  15. i wanna get this in order to get more MHz's from my CPU. what do you guys say about it? I'm running stock cooling at the moment.

  17. check in the bios to see whether any wake-up events are enabled. most likely the network adapter is set to wake the computer when activity is present.
  18. under dns server in your pc tcp/ip settings put your isp dns server ip instead of the router ip

Near the BIOS chip should be a jumper with 3 pins that reads CLEAR CMOS. put the jumper on the free pin and the middle pin and hold it like that for about 10 seconds. that will clear the cmos and upon reboot you'll be able to enter the bios. BEWARE!!! you MUST unplug the pc from the mains before doing that!!!
  21. funny but when starting splinter cell it shows the athlon 64 picture....
  22. you might wanna try hitting ctrl+f1 right after entering bios then go to pc health. sometimes this combination reveals more bios options.
  23. i go with ripken. also check in bios to see and set the shutdown temperature. also check that the fan(s) are working properly and are not obstructed.
