  1. i didn't quite get you but maybe editing the .bat file will help...
  2. disable temporarily your avg virus shield then: control panel --> internet options --> delete cookies and delete files. re-enable avg and you're done.
  3. IMO a mixer is a must when recording music from multiple external sources, Anyway, I would use a mixer myself.
  4. Maybe Axed is right. This is what I do (every 2 or 3 weeks): Open my case, remove the add-on cards and the RAM modules and with a soft brush remove all the dust off the slots. Also, I use some technical spirit to clean the contacts of the RAM and the cards. Good luck!
  5. Don't know about modem drivers, maybe google will help, but for the sata drive folloe these steps: right click My Computer --> Manage --> Disk Management --> right click on your drive --> Properties --> Hardware --> click on your sata drive --> Properties --> Volumes --> Populate. Done. After that in Disk Management you can assign a drive letter to it if it didn't already do so. Good Luck!
  6. nvidia provides the generic forceware driver for all nvidia-based graphic cards, so that's outta your way. the rest is either on your hardware producer site or on the sites of the chipsets producers. IMHO x64 is better than x32 as it eats instructions faster. But then again, i never had problems with drivers...

  12. I have seen many cd's with win xp sp3 circulating around. They ARE warez as their install keys cannot be verified by M$. A friend of mine got one and installed it. After that he called me 'cause his pc needed some drivers. Just for curiosity sake I went to M# site and checked the install key. Guess what! Invalid... Reinstalled xpsp2 and ran windows update. Works fine and the key was certified by M$.
  13. A doctor has to go away from his office and tells the assistant to be careful with the patients while he is away. Upon returning, he asks the assistant how it went. D: How was it, assistant? A: Not bat at all, I had only 3 patients. D: What were their problems? A: Well, the first patient was an old man who said that his head was really aching. D: What did you do? A: I gave him some painkillers.\ D: Very well done! The second? A: A guy that had an upset stomach. I gave him some zantac. D: Very well again! And what about the third patient? A: In came a gorgeous babe, locks the door behind her, rips her clothes off and shouts: "I haven't seen a man in 3 months!" D: And what did you do? A: I gave her eye-drops!

  17. @boooggy I did my homework and already tried that... Still no joy. Probably I'll move to Winamp (although i hate it) because it has a plugin that creates a toolbar. Or maybe I'll find a way (or someone esle here will). Google's no help at all in this issue, M$ neither.
  18. As far as I'm aware, there is no official service pack 3 for windows xp. That is warez and warez is not tolerated here. Please read the rules before asking. As for the rest, google.com will find the answers.
