how's that possible? is msfn xhtml compatible? last i tried to open web pages on wap everthing was messed up on the page and this is php so i dunno, does it work?

?? if u don't want it why don't not install it? is there only 1 user created? check if that process is running (which i believe its running (aim crap)) so first close that then delete the system folder. but uninstalling would work.. also u get a system folder on desktop? u mean in program files or something?

i think that disables the recent programs menu though i should ask, when u install xp does your list come up full? or u want to disable it?

if i were u i'd open a folder go to detailed view and show "product version" and "file version" that way u won't have to look at every frigging dll exe etc....

ow i didn't pay attention that u were trying to add it to the existing one (though now i see it even exist on the first post ). extract that cab archive and make a new one..that's supposed to work too

nice!! do u know a way to extract the installshield executables msi files? I mean they come with .exe and bunch of cab files. i want to edit them but since they're distributed to "cd-rom" i cannot edit it. any way around it?

yea me too that's why i have outlook opened all the time. sorted all the forums nicely with rules so i see how many replies I get. also in comp class i finish the class earlier so i get to look at msfn long live msfn :yiey!

wow a degrade? its the first time i hear about it. I don't have a solution though. if u installed them on the same folder (windows) there could be many problems with it. new files from 2003 are not deleted. old files from xp remains but linked to other files. i don't even think 2003 is designed to degrade to anything....

u didn't remove asms dir right? it also happens for another reason. (had happened to me once) i don't remember the cause of it.

ok thanks for the suggestion i had forgotten about the "hosts" file. i doubt that i've spyware. just formatted last week. didn't install any new stuff that i don't already know. i'll do as u say... i used adsgone for a while it blocked a lot of websites. I just don't remember if it blocked those inline stuff. well i guess it did. since its lauched for an url and adsgone works with url's. anyways i think i'm gonna re-dl adsgone. any better popup killers? not like google toolbar or anything of sort. Thanks.

i'm not sure about this, i dunno if oembios.bin file checks it but, i think at some point gosh's method works. well instead of guessing why don't u try and see if it works or not just make a new install. either install it to a second partition (so u can go back to the other if u want).... and if the oembios.bin is checking the bios? replace it with a retail version?

thanks for the suggestion but i'm not going to do that. what? i have to resize the sections when i put another short-cut no way! i once tried active desktop and put html's and links to programs but that just took so many rams and most of the app's i couldn't launch cause i don't know how to launch a file from html(it always tries to save it with a href) anyhow i didn't try to learn it bc it took to much ram and etc. any other suggestions ?

well afaik (because i backup my games to my hdd & dvd's) the bin/cue format works on cd copyright protections. there is a thing called sub-channel data and iso's cannot register that data (i don't know the reason but it can't) so if u ever compare the size of an iso to a size of a bin file the bin will be larger since it contains the copy protection stuff. i use alcohol and it creates mdf/mds format which is somewhat similar to bin/cue but works on securom protection as well. I don't really like mds/mdf because frankly i sometimes rename the image files. and mds files are encrypted unlike cue files. so i either prefer bin/cue or cdi image and cdi image is something that saves all the info to 1 file. which u can make with Disk Juggler

i suggest pop accounts of course it won't really work if u dl the emails to your computer and at a later time say u want to look at an email on a friends comp and u can't so actually google might work
