i feel too old (19 here) and I'm jealous of the ones younger then me! they were born right on when the technology was super duper. so they meet with all those funky stuff I met a computer when I was 7. (386dx). i don't know maybe it works out like this, since i saw some soft of change from 386 to p4. I think the wisest ppl would be the one's that have been following the technology for a long time, so say they're 30-40 years old and have been following. I think those ppl know the best (if they are renewing their knowledge, with updates & latest technology)

use Shun Di's design i was trying to mention that the letters should be on the left aligned from top to bottom. he seems to already have done it and looks good (ehe much better than my childish picture) GJ

u can have as many profiles as u want just copy the existing one and change the name of the others i don't know the rest though I know u can set it to start with different services (blkviper.com) and i think since its hardware profile i don think it might not have anything to do with software.. i'm not sure.

okay that's good????? also in order to use dc++ u need to share s**loads of file! i'd go with something else if its just for the music

that doesn't work as well.. i can only create folders from normal desktop also if there is a folder on desktop say NEW Folder i can open it and make another folder in there its just the root folder that i cannot create...

Hey aaron that i'm thinking of buying myself too 10000rpm 74gb sata aaa lovely even the thought of it gets me (i might get 37gb just for windows and games though, i've 7200rpm 120gb external hdd for other stuff...) ok how does xp benefit from sata. 2 things 1. usually the sata drives are 10000 rpm if not at least 7200rpm. that speed change and the reason why its making windows faster should be obvious. say u're searching for a file in your hdd right. well in 7200rpm if u were to do it in 1min u should be able to do it in 30sec with 10000rpm (this is a very rough explanation) 2. the increased bandwidth: to my extend i think it means the amount of data transfered from various components on mb to the hdd. and from hdd to cd/dvd roms and vice versa. i've a question as well what does the cache on the hdd really do? i found this on another forum but to me it shouldn't be the case what's the benefit of having a higher cache? (i searched google, well obviously i'm not a good searcher ) I've 8mb cache 120gb wd hdd..

b4 u do anything else most of those components are already turned off so unless otherwise said in winnt.sif they won't get installed that's just a long list of stuff u can include average user don't use most of them... those iis stuff u probably don't need (they're off) instead do this it might give u more meaning on those components go to windows\inf folder then find sysoc.inf open it with notepad go to edit go to replace type hide in "find what" and leave the replace with blank save it then go to add/remove programs open up windows components now u shall see those components...

hi there say i'm on internet explorer i want to save a picture or save the webpage right, so this page opens edit: picture removed now when i click on that folder icon on the top nothing happens??? but when i'm on the desktop like normal desktop i can create folders i don't remeber if this came up after sp2 or something? does anyone have a similar problem? (i don't have spyware junkware bsware ) thanks
