not neccessarily what is the mail provider? yahoo? hotmail? this mail that mail? if the smtp server of the provider fails, u'll have to use the isp's smtp server. also whats this got to do with longhorn? i also see that u're asking for the incoming mail so u have to say which email provider u're using!

if u have a slow hdd and not so much ram cleaning up the icons do help!!! windows loads all those icons. so if u have lots of things on the desktop its gonna slow it down! if u're experiencing slowness. defrag, close the startup programs, get rid of some icons.. etc...

u could specify a default install dir for all of them then u can change the default installdir. there are variables in all those program if u found the info by searching, exactly what r trying to find? depth info on them or something?

ich denke, daB es helfen wurde, wenn sie es auf Deutsch schreiben. hm this far i know with german so u want to copy picture files having them with dates instead of the file name itself (which i think would be dcim) sony right? i think u might need to rename them first with some sort of batch renamer.

get the office ork tools well u don't have to but the usage is like this setup.exe TRANSFORMS=filename.MST /qb- common usage start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\Office2003\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=Unattended.MST /qb- hmm dumb be i dunno about ops file, i always create an ops file for the settings then put in the install parameters with the ork tools and create a mst file with both of them. so grab the ork tools

did u do it with xpcreate? if so i'm sure gm is going to ask for the log file. also nice computer!!! gimme that! apart from the hotfixes/drivers did u install any apps? and what do u mean by it stops working? does it give an error?

so are both computers hooked up with the router? if so and if they're under the same domain (why do u need a domain?, have a workgroup) they should be able to see each other. did u set up the router so that both connects to the internet? that might be neccessary cause the router is supposed to give an ip to the computers, though there might be a work around. and why not just share the internet. I mean if the other comp is not going to use it, it shouldn't be a problem (won't slow the other computers' internet) right click on my comp go to properties go to computer name press change type the workgroup name to change the workgroup...(or domain)

is this win2000? i think at some point u typed program files and it didn't accept the long filename and therefore it looks for progra~1, try to find that through the registry and change it to program files and if its the way u wrote "programs files" it might be wrong due to that

hi there i know ms has a program to wipe the msi's but i don't understand why it backs up the msi files on to the hdd. sometimes deleting those ends up in programs giving errors. some of the setups try to restart. whyy?? i've reserved 2gb for win and documents and settings folder now that folder is 100mb and i just want to delete the whole thing or change the path. is there a good reason why they're getting backed up? Thanks

ok start the setup and go look at the temp dir's and windows downloaded folder stuff i don't exactly remember where it extracts them it should have a 16-21mb cab file along with msi and 3-5 ini's the setup doesn't run cause i deleted the original 6.01 setup and i found my old 6.00 which doesn't run bc i already have the new version.. so try to find it its either called adobe reader 6.msi or ar6.msi .... gl

yea for example that red and white and skin color looks good ahahah

though this was mentioned b4 also u can get the msi and cab from the package and just use them.. (nothing againts u nor the method)

gee i've to say, a friend of mine was doing a website over blue background and green font's as well, I think those 2 don't match good in the webpages. other than that web content is awesome!! i'd like bg: blue font: white bg:black font: orange (its kindda dark but nicely readable) bg: black font: white bg: gray font: most of the colors... bg: a simple texture that doesn't block the font's, to be eligable font: something that matches .... also this forum's color is prety good black over light blue bg...
